This season, we are focusing on workwear and military-inspired items from Europe.
This piece is sampled from a 1940s French work jacket, which has been gaining popularity recently.
Based on a 1940s moleskin work jacket, the pattern has been redesigned to create an easier-to-wear silhouette.
It is tailored for autumn and winter using 6-wale thick-ridge corduroy, which is common in European vintage workwear.
Air-tumbling finish: By using the force of air (wind speed of 60 km/h) to strike the fabric against an impact plate, the fibers and threads are loosened.
As a result, the surface becomes slightly fuzzy, light, and with a soft, supple texture, creating a more vintage look.
The size and shape of the pockets, which are characteristic of 1940s French workwear, have been faithfully reproduced, making this a stylish jacket that retains a vintage feel.

COLIMBO Bennet Field Coat【ZX-0150】¥72,600 JPY

A traditional Mackinaw-style coat.
Made from a specially ordered dense wool melton fabric.
It features a heavy-duty double-layered construction from the front yoke to the waist on the back, without seams.
Nut buttons are used.
Wool has high heat retention and regulatory functions, so it is unlined and single-layered, with extremely fine piping on the fabric edges.
This special mission coat was adopted by the US Army in the 1930s, and instead of the typical khaki color, dark navy was used.

Wearing size L (180cm, 72kg).

The size is generous enough to wear over a denim jacket!
