This A-2 jacket is based on the Rough Wear Clothing Co. A-2 from the 1940s, but finished in a more stylish silhouette.
This model is based on the 1941 delivery model, using vegetable-tanned aniline-finished horsehide.
The material is 1.2mm to 1.3mm thick horsehide.
To reproduce the brown color that existed in actual vintage pieces, yellow dye is applied to the base, and then brown is colored over it, resulting in a vintage-like brown.
The leather has the unique firmness and suppleness characteristic of Rainbow Country leather, along with a moderate sheen.
As you wear it, not only will wrinkles appear on the arms, but also fine graining, allowing you to enjoy both changes in color and changes in the leather's surface.
Please enjoy the aging of Rainbow Country's soft and easily-worn leather.

The distinctive high collar and collar tip stitching characteristic of Rough Wear Clothing Co. are also reproduced.
The size ticket attached to the side of the left pocket flap lining is also reproduced.
Just like vintage pieces, the property name is reproduced below the main name.
This A-2 is finished with even greater attention to detail and reproduction than ever before.

The ribs are a mixed rib specification.
The lining is 100% cotton fabric.
The zipper is an original "CAL-MFG" auto-lock zipper from Rainbow Country, made from an original mold.
It's an original zipper made with a press, just like vintage ones.
It's made with a size that pursues visible coolness, with slimmer arms, body width, and waist for a neat silhouette.
This A-2 is highly recommended for those who love leather aging, including changes in gloss and grain from wear, and those who enjoy breaking in leather.
