What's finally appearing here is
*① the early 1947 model.

The 1947 model is considered
the greatest masterpiece in 501XX history for denim pants.
After wartime material controls were lifted,
all the details were restored, and many brands
sampled these pants, which is why they are called
the greatest masterpiece.
However, even after the war ended and material controls were lifted,
it took time for all the details to be complete.
This applies not only to pants but also to jackets.
In fact, the buckles used around 1946
were the same filed buckles used during the war.
They are characterized by a narrow buckle width that doesn't fit the strap,
and knowing this won't hurt as it's a way to identify the 1946 model.

However, the strap that didn't fit
was properly accommodated by adjusting the buckle width,
likely in 1947, which is also said to be the final period of the needle-punched buckle.

And finally, the 506XX
begins to see its end.
If there's an early 1947 model,
naturally, a late model will appear.
Here it is...
The pleat box becomes
parallel to the buttons.
And the details also change
from a needle-punched cinch back
to a slide cinch back.
The 506XX from 1947 to 1953
is also called the final period of the 1st model.
The 506XX, which appeared in the 1890s,
and continued to be made for 60 years until 1953,
while changing its details...
Even now, this "1st" style remains immensely popular.
