It's still so hot... My mind is ready for autumn, but autumn just isn't coming... (lol)

Today, we'd like to introduce a classic item that every JELADO fan should own, which has just been restocked.

Smoker Shirt Indigo Chambray【JP94112】¥16,280 JPY

The fabric used is 100% cotton custom-ordered indigo chambray.
It is reproduced from the fabric of a 1920s-1930s "BRAVEMAN" DEADSTOCK work shirt owned by our company.
Chambray fabric is a plain weave fabric that uses colored yarn for the warp (vertical threads) and white yarn (or a different colored yarn from the warp) for the weft (horizontal threads), and is characterized by its unique mottled texture.
As shown in the image, the weft (horizontal threads) are slub yarns, resulting in a flexible fabric with moderate thickness and firmness.
This fabric allows you to enjoy the aging process, such as vertical fading and fading, unique to indigo dyeing, as it is worn.

This is a 100% cotton broadcloth fabric, a densely plain-woven fabric made with fine threads.
Normally, this material is used for dress shirts such as button-downs, so it may not be a familiar material.
When worn, the fabric is soft and pleasant to the touch, making for a comfortable and luxurious shirt.

Although the materials differ, both are based on the "BIG YANK" shirts with "gacha-poke" (asymmetric pockets) from the 1930s.

The broadcloth fabric is slightly smaller than the chambray, so please refer to the size chart.

Both are easy to incorporate into your coordination and incredibly versatile!
