The 2 Monkeys Belle Epoque Atelier Coat (TM72426)¥ 46,200 JPY

This coverall is inspired by the workwear of the Belle Époque period, when French civilization and culture flourished from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. Atelier means a workshop in English, meaning a manufacturing site such as a studio or small factory. In other words, the Atelier coat is also a shop coat, but it is short-length, making it a coverall that can be worn casually in spring and summer.

The puckering that occurs along the stitching due to shrinkage of the fabric during piece dyeing creates a unique atmosphere, and the puckering of the stitching in the collar in particular gives the collar a soft look. This unique design features a patch pocket on the chest and seam pockets on the sides. Compared to the loose silhouette of the pullovers and pants in the same Belle Epoque series, the roominess of the body is modest. The design takes ease of movement into consideration.
This fabric is densely woven in an irregular herringbone pattern, with linen for the warp and cotton for the weft, recreating an antique fabric with a unique, rough texture.

Corduroy Bush Shorts (JP72309)¥ 19,800 JPY

The Bush Pants released in AW 2021 have been made into shorts using 100% cotton 14-wale corduroy material.
The color scheme is similar to that of the corduroy pants that Levi's offered at the time.
Bush means thicket or thicket, and is a type of work pant that is primarily worn outdoors. The vintage details have not been simplified and the pants have been made to maintain the image of the time.

The denim used is made with 66 warp threads and 48 weft threads, tightly woven on an old-fashioned power loom, giving it a firm, resilient texture and a strong blue color. As you wear it, it will develop whiskers and fade vertically, so you can enjoy the beautiful fading.
