We have produced the Westcoast Shirt, which has recently become a staple item with no flaps, using a special fabric!

This time, we used a native jacquard fabric developed in collaboration with a fabric manufacturer.

It was produced based on a vintage fabric found at an antique market in France.
The material is 100% cotton, with 40/2 carded yarn for the warp and 10/- carded yarn for the weft in the ground part, and 60/2 combed yarn for the native pattern part of the warp.

The native pattern is recreated using a two-beam jacquard loom.
By weaving with two different thicknesses of warp yarns, the fabric gains texture and dimension, resulting in a visually impactful fabric.

Two-beam jacquard looms are very rare, and the production quantity per day is limited, making them very expensive and valuable.
For dyeing, we use a dyeing method called "homologous desorptive reactive dyeing."

Homologous desorptive reactive dyeing is a dyeing method where the color fades gradually without changing hue, similar to how indigo-dyed denim fades.
Through repeated wear and washing, you can enjoy the aging process and experience a more vintage feel.
