This jacket is based on Barbour's Bedale and uses a 3-layer eVent fabric.

eVent is a highly anticipated material.
It is a waterproof and breathable material developed by British company BHA using expanded PTFE laminate technology "Direct Venting System," and it is an innovative fabric that uses their unique "Dry System" to release sweat to the outside, keeping the inside of the wear dry.
Waterproof breathable, as its name suggests, is a material that has both waterproofing capabilities to prevent rain and moisture, and breathability to release moisture from the body to the outside.
eVent is the only material that can rival the strongest material, Gore-Tex.
Looking at the numbers, it has a water pressure resistance of 30,000mm and a breathability of 30,000mgm2-24h.
The breathability is 2 to 3 times that of Gore-Tex, so it truly prevents stuffiness.

The zipper is a YKK water-repellent zipper with a ring-shaped pull.

The pockets also use YKK water-repellent zippers.

Since it's designed like a single-layer coat, it can be worn over a jacket or a T-shirt, making it suitable for year-round use.
