The 2Monkeys'
2022 AW collection
takes us all the way back to the 18th century.
It was created with the image of clothes
that French travelers would have worn
when venturing into the undeveloped lands
of the North American interior,
when vast tracts of land were French territory.
At that time, Europeans wore military uniforms or similar garments
when entering forests and wilderness areas. Due to the strong royal power,
the styles of the time were determined by the court,
reflecting the fashion of that era.
