Today's blog will be a bit long,

as I want to introduce the charm of these 41Khakis and explain

what 41Khakis are, so that as many people as possible

can reserve them when the time comes.

Please bear with me.

 

 

Before explaining what M41 Khaki Chinos are,

I'd like to start by talking about what chino pants are.

 

Fabric woven with right-hand twill and two-ply yarn is called 'weapon'...

and fabric woven with left-hand twill and single yarn

is called 'chino cloth'.

 

*What is chino cloth?

It is said to mean 'Chinese fabric'

because the American military initially procured this fabric from China.

Pants made from this fabric are called chino pants.

 

Also, in Spanish, China is called

CHINO. There is also a theory that these pants are called chino pants

because they were "Made in China."

 

 

The color of chino pants is generally khaki,

but let me explain before any misunderstanding arises.

 

What most people refer to as khaki

is a color like olive, but the color khaki when referring to chino pants

is what we now call beige.

 

 

 

The color khaki actually has a story,

which I'd like to talk about a bit. Around the 1870s,

the British army attempted to invade India and occupied the colony.

However, the British soldiers' trousers were white, which made them stand out,

and they were easily spotted by the enemy.

 

 

 

 

So, they came up with the idea of dyeing the white trousers

with coffee and mulberry fruit to match the color of the Indian soil,

and that's how the color khaki was born.

 

Later, during World War I, it became the work uniform

for the US Army stationed in the Philippines. However, there was a need for functional military uniforms,

so M41 was developed by dyeing California cotton khaki, which is

now known as the 41 Khaki model.

 

The 41Khaki sold by JELADO

retains the silhouette of the vintage original

while incorporating authentic details.

 

 

such as double-welt back pockets,

 

 

 

 

the pocket lining made of a different chino fabric,

 

 

 

 

 

and the coin pocket on the front.

 

 

 

 

 

We use details that do not detract from the original atmosphere.

 

 

When the next reservation period begins, we hope that everyone

will try on these pants, so please keep an eye out for them.
