But what is this BIG E?

From 1936 to 1971

There are three types of tags called BIG E.
That means just by looking at the red tab
This means that it is possible to roughly determine the age.

This is from 1936 to 1953
The red tab used reads "One Sided."
It is called that by Levi's lovers.
[Double-sided, even V]
This is the tab that was used from 1953 to 66.
Since the tabs were changed to double-sided tabs to separate the different age groups, it must have been after 53.
The next thing to look at is the 'V' of LEVI'S, which will be the point for dividing the groups.
