Due to the dense fabric,

carved and this design was also used
on items from the 1940s.
The stitching is also done with nut buttons,
and it's a nice touch to see vintage details
even in the small parts.
Also, pay attention to the pockets...
The edges of the pockets are knitted horizontally.
This is another detail unique to old cardigans.
