Let's get right into it.

Among LEVI'S Vintage Jackets,
preferences are almost always divided.
When asked which style you prefer among the
506XX (1st), 507XX (2nd), and 557XX (3rd),
the ratio is roughly 4:4:2.
The "2" refers to the 557XX (3rd).
The 506XX and 507XX are equally popular.
As someone who appreciates details, I favor the
506XX with its single pocket and cinch back.
However, many car owners prefer the 507XX.
I believe the supporters of the 507XX argue that the cinch back can scratch car seats.
I don't dislike the 507XX either, with its boxy silhouette,
wide body, and shorter length.
Now, let's break down the 507XX.
First, production of the 506XX (1st) ceased in 1953.
Then, the 507XX (2nd) appeared on the scene.
However, there was an overlap in the production periods of the 506XX and 507XX.
Therefore, the very first 507XX models had
a leather patch + single-sided tab.
Furthermore, from July 21, 1953, onwards, there were
leather patches + double-sided tabs.
Eventually, it became a paper patch + double-sided tab.
That's the progression.
When comparing the 507XX to the 506XX,
the pockets changed from a single pocket to two pockets,
and instead of adjusting with a cinch back on the back,
adjustments were made with buttons on the waist band.
The silhouette also largely changed to a boxy shape.
However, within the 507XX itself,
while there were changes to the patches and tabs,
there were no significant changes, such as a change in silhouette.
I'd also like to introduce my own 517XX.
The 517XX is a 507XX with a blanket lining,
and it appeared on price lists from 1953.
I'm not sure if it was intentional, but
the blanket was removed, so it looked exactly like a 507XX,
but there were still traces of the blanket remaining in places.

An actual size 46 517XX.
The length was unusually long, over 60 cm,
and it had side seams.
The color retention was also quite good,
and aside from the blanket being missing, it was personally perfect.
I'll stop here for now.
I can't finish in one go if I go into too much detail,
so I'll introduce the details of the 2nd model
before the release of the
LAST RESORT denim, which is currently scheduled to arrive in late December.
