[It's February! Time for outerwear!] Introducing outerwear with limited stock!

Good evening.

This is Komori from JELADO Ebisu store.

Thank you for visiting us today.

Well, since it's still cold, I'd like to introduce some outerwear today.

JELADO Ventura【SG83405】Price ¥77,000 (tax included)

Flake Vanilla

Flake Navy

We are releasing VENTURA with a different color scheme.
The product name is taken from the streets of Southern California, a mecca for car clubs.
The vintage value of the Pharoah jacket (called a car club coat in America, which became widespread in 1950s America as cold-weather clothing and workwear for custom car races, characterized by its long length) has skyrocketed, and it is now almost impossible to get your hands on versions with a kempi body and jacquard ribbing. JELADO has reproduced the fabric and design from our collection, and to make it practical and long-lasting, we've added a quilted lining for warmth.
We aimed for a hard touch, using thick wool as the main material, like that used in carpets, which has an impact rarely seen today. By strongly pressing the fulling and finishing with a firm melton, we expressed the thick yet oil-free fabric touch of vintage items. We sourced rayon raw material from France for the kempi yarn and added color kempi as an accent. We reproduced the rare navy-based kempi melton of vintage items. The kempi part is rayon. This item is sampled from a 1950s PENNEYS Pharaoh, tailored like the original. Only the front body has a round yoke.

I also wear VENTURA, and it's quite warm on its own.

The pockets are made of alpaca wool, so they are quite warm.

It's not as bulky as a down jacket but is smart-looking and provides good insulation, so I recommend it.

My favorite feature is that the sleeve cuffs can be folded.

I like to wear it with a sweatshirt underneath.

I spent this winter in VENTURA.

The Ebisu store offers two colors: vanilla and navy.

Stock for both colors is running low, so please try this outerwear once.

JELADO Smoky Joe Camel【AB83409A】

Price ¥101,200 (tax included)

We are releasing the same popular material with a different color scheme. It uses Bishu-produced double-woven melton, made of 90% wool and 10% nylon, woven in a broken twill pattern, making the weave less visible and enhancing its luxurious and vintage feel. It's a time-consuming material produced through multiple processes, including fulling after weaving, double-sided napping, and clear finishing to give it firmness by pressing the fabric with rollers. The sleeves are made of cowhide, which is finished soft and supple, and has an increased grain. Similar to last year, the range of motion has been widened to avoid stress when worn, but it has been tailored into an outerwear with a silhouette suitable for adults. By making the melton beige and the leather brown, it has been tailored into a simple stadium jacket that is more suitable for adults. The leather sleeves use 1.8mm cowhide, but they are finished soft to avoid stress during movement.

Arm part

The leather part is made of cowhide, which is characterized by its grain.

You'll be able to enjoy the aging process as you wear it.

The ribbing is also firm.

Price ¥146,300 (tax included)

This year, we again commissioned Handler-san to apply patches and embroidery using a 1950s hand-operated sewing machine assembled in England, the SINGER114K103. The patches are hand-embroidered, using a painstaking technique that combines chenille and chain embroidery. This time, we reproduced the team embroidery from a 1940s skating rink. The same design as the embroidery is used for the chenille patches. The luster will settle down with use, and it will age beautifully. The body uses the same popular material as before, but with a different color scheme. It uses Bishu-produced double-woven melton, 90% wool and 10% nylon. Thick patches are used.

The leather on the arms is thick but soft, making it comfortable to wear from the start.

The brown color also gives it a nice color scheme.

This stadium jacket can be easily paired with jeans or chinos.

This stadium jacket will continue to be a great item, so don't miss out!

In the 18th century, the northeastern and inland parts of North America were French territory. French people traveled through that unexplored land to trade furs and hunt beavers with the indigenous people. There is no evidence that they wore leather jackets, but it is possible that they, who had the deepest interactions with the North American indigenous people who had the custom of wearing leather outerwear at that time, created and wore leather jackets incorporating the styles of French clothing of that period (around 1750). Based on this hypothesis, we designed a period waist-coat (jacket) with sleeves. It incorporates many details that inherit the style of Europe at that time, such as pre-bent sleeves, unique armhole curves, unique back seams for cinching, and gussets at the hem, creating a unique leather jacket. The camel is horsehide with a rough, shrunken texture. It's leather that retains irregular, natural grains and tiger stripes. The oak brown is smooth horsehide that retains its natural texture. It's finished with black dye, and you can enjoy the aging process where the black fades into a deep, dark brown. Both are vegetable-tanned.

It's great to have an original leather jacket designed from a historical hypothesis.

It comes in two colors, and the oak brown is the same color as the VAUDEVILLE【TM83933】.

This leather jacket can also be worn with mega thermals underneath.

Stock is limited, so please try it on at the store.

Thank you for reading until the end.
