Today, I'd like to introduce the aging of a pair of shoes I've worn extensively:

ELASTOS has been restocked at JELADO WEST.

Since it's been one year since I started wearing these, I'd like to show you their aging process.

The ELASTOS developed deep creases from the very beginning of wear.

As a side gore boot without laces, it's very easy to wear, and I believe I've broken them in nicely, balancing them with the Vaudeville I bought at the same time (in my opinion).

The color has deepened, and the creases have become a prominent feature.

The aging process differs for each wearer, so I'd love to see how yours have changed.

The excellent silhouette achieved by the Goodyear and McKay construction, and

the brogue details and stitching enhance the elegance of these boots, and the V-shaped elastic is a design rarely seen today.

And the exquisite Victorian Blue color is irresistibly cool. These are a pair of shoes that truly make you feel that way.

〜USMC M44 Monkey Pants〜

【Pre-order item, scheduled to arrive early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】

USMC M44 Monkey Pants are trousers issued to the Marine Corps, and they are also a popular item in the vintage industry under the nickname "Monkey Pants." The origin of that name is here...

The cargo pockets are wide and rectangular with large flaps.

These large pockets were adopted to store ponchos, and the flaps were added to prevent the contents from falling out.

Because these pockets resemble the hindquarters of a monkey, they are called "Monkey Pants."

The M44 was produced for a very short period, just one year and three months, from July 1944 to around October 1945.

Also, because they were issued to the "elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps, the overall production volume was low, which is why they command very high prices in the vintage market.

The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them include:

・Battle of Iwo Jima (February 19 – March 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (March 26 – September 7, 1945).

They were also worn extensively after World War II, during the

・Korean War (June 25, 1950 – July 27, 1953).

JELADO's Monkey Pants use herringbone material.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.

And the buttons are doughnut buttons, which also creates a vintage feel.

By wearing them thoroughly, you can enjoy the aging process.

I also recommend pairing them with a chambray shirt.
