The 41 Khaki stencil changes over time with repeated wear and washing.

The stencil, which is dark when new, fades with washing,

and the appearance changes completely.

The old 41 Khaki was discontinued

with the last delivery in May 2023.

 

To release new chino pants to replace it,

we cut up expensive vintage 41 Khakis, analyzed them,

and produced the fabric from scratch.

 

Using deep South American cotton,

we reproduce the natural slub yarn.

 

Whereas the previous 41 Khaki was reactive dyed,

this 41 Khaki is vat dyed.

 

The 41 Khaki, made with American cotton, shuttle looms, and vat dyes,

is finished to preserve the atmosphere and fabric feel of the time.

 

The ultimate chino pants, with attention to detail in

raw cotton, yarn, weaving, and dyeing...

When it arrived last time, it sold out incredibly quickly,

and it is a very popular item with many customers waiting for the next delivery.

"Last Resort" means

a family heirloom, a trump card, and if the white tag is the first line of defense,

the "blue tag" series is the fourth line, following the black tag and brown tag.

 

The white and black tags focus on LEVI'S,

the brown tag focuses on 41Khaki... so what about the blue tag??

 

The blue tag is a collection centered around workwear, and when it comes to workwear,

you can't miss "Lee."

 

The LAST RESORT "blue tag" focuses on light ounce denim workwear.

 

Since it's 10.5 oz denim,

unlike the white and black tags, the lower ounce blue tag will definitely show different aging.

 

In that sense,

it's a very exciting series.

The base is the same as "LASTRESORT 41Khaki", but the fabric is different.

 

100% cotton twisted yarn twill fabric.

The warp uses sulfur-dyed twisted yarn, and the weft uses

sulfur-dyed black yarn, resulting in a thick and firm fabric.

 

Since it's 100% cotton, it will develop a nice patina with wear,

so we hope you enjoy the changing appearance.

 

This is produced once a year, so we expect some customers have been waiting for it.

The long-awaited "41Covert" is finally available for pre-order.

In December, a small amount of free stock was

available and sold out in an instant: the Age of Longing 407EXX.

 

I'm sure you're all familiar with LAST RESORT "Black Tag."

It's the second installment of the Last Resort series, following the original "White Tag" that was released earlier.

 

Compared to the white tag, the black tag denim is darker, with a stronger black hue rather than blue.

 

JELADO categorizes the 1947 model into early and late types,

with the white tag, a denim fabric with a strong blue tint, positioned as the late 1947 model.

The 501XX from this era is called:

 

"The greatest masterpiece in 501XX history."

 

If you want to know why it's called that, please come to JELADO WEST (laughs).

 

The white tag denim fabric focuses on 50s XX fabric.

 

So what about the "black tag" with its strong black hue??

 

World War II ended in 1945, but during the war,

each Levi's factory was producing everyone's beloved "War Model."

 

After the war ended, material controls were lifted,

but it took a considerable amount of time for the details to return to their original form.

 

The reason is that a lot of the denim fabric, subsidiary materials, etc., used in the War Model remained.

 

LEVI'S denim fabrics also had No.1 denim to No.3 denim

(I only know up to No.3, but if No.4 or others exist, please let me know). This refers to the quality of the denim fabric.

 

No. 2 is a cheaper version of No. 1 denim,

and No. 3 is a cheaper version of No. 2 denim.

It's divided this way, but the denim fabric used in the war model might have been No. 2 or No. 3 denim.

 

After this denim fabric was used up,

it transitioned to what JELADO calls the "white tag." The period from the end of the war until the denim fabric changed is the transitional period,

and that's the black tag denim.

 

It's 15 ounces and uses uneven yarns,

so as it ages with repeated wear,

it will develop vertical fading that resembles rain.

 

The real pleasure of denim is, after all,

"fading."

Fading is essential for "wearing" denim,

and it will be completely different depending on the person, so this pleasure is

what I think is denim's greatest charm.

 

This time, production has increased by 400 units,

so for customers who couldn't purchase it during the last arrival in December,

and for those who are considering purchasing it now,

I believe this is your chance to get your hands on it.
