With the rainy season having started, more and more people are looking for short-sleeved items.

So today, we're going to introduce the Mechanic Shirt, a short-sleeved item made from JELADO's ultimate twisted yarn fabric, developed with the same attention to detail as the Last Resort series.

JELADO Mechanic Shirt【JP02106A】

The design is based on a short-sleeved shirt from "OX-HIDE," a store brand sold by JC Penney in the 1950s.

With a facing like an open-collar shirt,

and no placket, it's perfect for casually throwing on.

Just like vintage shirts, it features a selvedge gusset and run-off stitching.

About the twisted yarn chambray fabric used

Similar to the Last Resort fabric, this is a supreme chambray fabric created by deconstructing a vintage "BIG YANK" chambray from JELADO's collection and meticulously reproducing the original fabric's characteristics, including yarn count, thread density, irregular yarn shape, and twist condition.

For dyeing, we use sulfide dyes that allow for age-related changes similar to vintage items. Originally, we intended to reproduce black chambray, but since sulfide dyes are difficult to stabilize in color, it happened to shift to a strong reddish-gray hue. Because it was such a wonderful color we had never seen before, we decided to commercialize it.

We also have an exclusive version with a different fabric and special freehand embroidery. Using a 1950s hand-operated SINGER 114K103 sewing machine assembled in England, we've faithfully reproduced the design of our car club embroidery.

The fabric used is a selvedge fabric woven on a power loom, with a warp of black and white mottled yarn and a weft of white yarn, creating a strong whitish mottled appearance.

Each item is hand-embroidered by a handler, making it a very rare item. Currently, only XL and XXL are in stock. If these sizes fit you, please consider them.

On March 24 (Mon) at 6 PM, in a YouTube video released by Gairoku CH,

JELADO's representative, Goto, was featured.

He talked about JELADO's manufacturing,

and his passionate thoughts and commitment to denim.

Because it's based on vintage,

he grasps the quirks of each piece and incorporates them into the design.

However, due to an increase in hemming requests for items purchased in-store or online,

we are currently unable to accommodate "hemming services for other brands' items brought in." We apologize for any inconvenience.

hemming will be charged.
