The other day, I just introduced the white-tag G-jacket and denim, but reservations for the black-tag top and bottom started at 2 PM on Tuesday.

They are scheduled to arrive from November to December.

I think there are some customers who were considering purchasing them.

Today, I would like to introduce the black-tag items.

JELADO Age of Longing Black Tag 407EXX Size34(XS)~38(M) Denim JKT【JP94407E】Price ¥42,900 (tax included)

"LASTRESORT DENIM" is JELADO's masterpiece, a wild denim with a strong vintage feel.

This is the first 1ST TYPE denim jacket from JELADO, using a black tag.
It's a reproduction using black-tag indigo, with a different fabric from the 1ST model initially produced with the white-tag ecru.
LASTRESORT DENIM with a black tag is sewn on the inside of the pocket. It's a special 15oz denim created with a new approach different from the white tag, reproduced from denim analyzed by deconstructing DEADSTOCK XX.
The distinctive features of the 1st type, such as the single pocket with flap, single-sided tab, five buttons, inner cuff buttons, and back strap, are faithfully reproduced.
When dividing the 1st type into early and late periods, the early period had a cinch-back buckle and the box stitching securing the pleats was misaligned with the button height. We've reproduced this by similarly altering the button and stitch heights and the cinch-back buckle to match the early period.
Since the black tag was created as a fabric from before the 40s, it approaches the same era.
Compared to the 2nd Type, the collar attachment is spaced further apart on the left and right, and the sleeve attachment forms a T-shape when laid flat. We've incorporated these features to an extent that makes it comfortable to wear.
Similar to our vintage pieces, the rolled seams are made with size 20 thread and the plain seams with size 30 thread.
The leather patch uses horsehide, with a single-sided embroidered rayon tab, original iron buttons with plating, and original copper rivets, all meticulously crafted.
Due to production specifications, sizes L and above will have a T-back design due to insufficient fabric width.

 ～LASTRESORT BLACK TAG～
This is the ultimate denim woven on a 50s loom, with yarn created by selecting raw cotton that matches the fiber length, yarn thickness, twist count, and fabric density from data of two DEAD STOCK denims of similar age, analyzed by a certain analysis institution.
By making this denim, I was able to deeply understand the characteristics of XX denim at that time, such as the quality of the yarn and the feel of the fabric, and the differences from modern denim.
Among them, if I were to talk about a clear process that I intentionally didn't touch upon while on the mission to reproduce XX, it would be the "color tone."
LASTRESORT black tag was created to reproduce the texture and color of denim woven under conditions where spinning technology was not as developed as it is now and yarn quality was worse than it is now, aiming for a vintage-like color.
We used the same raw cotton for warp and weft as the white tag (warp EMOT, weft California Pima) to create the yarn, but we manipulated the warp to make slubs more prominent, resulting in stronger unevenness.

This G-jacket is also particular about its materials.
By incorporating strong unevenness, vertical fading can be prolonged.
Looking at the vintage items I targeted, the dullness or prominence of the weft color was noticeable. The cotton color at that time seemed more like a yellowish ecru than white.
We decided to create the yarn with this depth of color in mind, then dye it and weave the fabric.
By changing to a different dyeing factory from the white tag, the color has become completely different.
The height of the rope and the dyeing process vary depending on the dyeing factory, so the color rendition also changes.

And due to this difference in process, the white tag became 14OZ and the black tag became 15OZ, resulting in a change in fabric weight.
Furthermore, by intentionally dyeing it 8 times deeply, it resulted in denim with a deeper, richer blue hue.This denim, with its deep color and wild, uneven texture, has been adopted as the "LASTRESORT DENIM" black tag model, aimed at achieving a more heritage feel.
While it has a wilder appearance and fabric touch, after just two days of wear, it transforms into a smooth, comfortable feel that glides on easily, with the softness of a white tag becoming prominent and stress-free.
