The exhibition for

JELADO & The 2Monkeys

2025 Autumn / Winter Collection,

which started on 4/5 (Saturday), has successfully concluded all its dates.

I'm sure there were many interesting items from both JELADO and The 2Monkeys,

and we would like to thank all the customers who visited and made reservations.

We extend our gratitude to all customers who visited the 2025AW exhibition that started last weekend.

～Information on Pre-order Items～

We would like to introduce the following items that are now available for pre-order.

【Pre-order Item, Arriving in June】JELADO Rebel Jacket Horse Hide Semi Aniline Finish Black【SG71428】

The Rebel Jacket

is a long-standing standard rider's jacket

in the JELADO lineup.

To make it a simple rider's jacket,

we eliminated the epaulets.

Furthermore, by using cupro instead of quilting,

it's easier to put on and take off,

making it a comfortable piece to wear.

Made from 1.6mm thick leather with a semi-aniline finish, it offers a softness that 100% pigmented leather lacks. This is also a "tea-core leather," so you can enjoy its aging process with repeated wear.

There's one more item available for pre-order.

This is also a very popular item,

which sold out quickly when it was previously released,

with sizes disappearing in no time.

【Pre-order Item, Arriving in June】JELADO CM47 HBT Baker Pants【CT03347】

These are baker pants made from "herringbone twill" fabric,

which was adopted in 1947.

※ What is herringbone?

"Herringbone" =

"herring" (the fish) and "bone"

The pattern is derived from the resemblance to the bones visible when a herring is split open.

Baker pants were worn on the battlefield,

but also during internal work.

Also, it is said that the name "Baker Pants"

originated from the fact that bakers wore them.

Since it's herringbone twill fabric,

it's thick and durable.

Also, since it's 100% cotton, you can enjoy its aging process with repeated wear.

We have also been accepting pre-orders for this item for some time now,

and it was a popular item at the 2025SS exhibition.

【Pre-order Item, Arriving Early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】

USMC M44 Monkey Pants are pants issued to the Marines,

and are popular items in the Vintage industry under the nickname "Monkey Pants."

The origin of that name is here…

Large, horizontally-long cargo pockets with flaps.

These large pockets were adopted to hold ponchos,

and the flaps were included to prevent the contents from falling out.

These pockets are called "Monkey Pants" because they resemble a monkey's hindquarters.

The production period of the M44

was actually very short, only "1 year and 3 months,"

from July 1944 to around October 1945.

Also, because they were issued to the "elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,

the overall production volume was small, making them quite expensive

in the vintage market.

The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps

actually wore them were...

・Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb. 19 - Mar. 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (Mar. 26 - Sep. 7, 1945).

They were also widely worn after World War II

during the Korean War (Jun. 25, 1950 - Jul. 27, 1953).

It seems they were worn a lot during those times.

JELADO's Monkey Pants use herringbone for the material.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dye.

And the buttons are donut buttons,

which also creates a vintage feel.

By wearing them diligently, you can enjoy the aging process.

Half-length coats with native patterns

Leather jackets... and even

they go very well with coveralls, etc.,

I highly recommend pairing them with a chambray shirt.

At both JELADO stores, we offer hemming services for "denim from other brands"

if you bring them to the store. However,

due to the increased volume of hemming for in-store and online purchases,

we are currently unable to accommodate "hemming of other brands brought in by customers." Please understand.

・For customers wearing JELADO,

hemming of "JELADO products purchased from our dealers" will be charged.

*Hemming of JELADO products purchased directly from JELADO that are brought in will continue to be handled as before.
