~The weather has gotten warmer~
Good evening. This is Uemura from WEST.
As I mentioned in the title today,
the weather has gotten warmer, so I'd like to introduce our "Shirt".
Vaquero Shirt【JP11115】
The "Vaquero Shirt" is based on a 1950s LEVI'S Short Horn denim western shirt, reproducing every detail.
The image above is of me when I was working at a vintage clothing store (in my early 20s).
The shirt I'm wearing in this image is also a 50s LEVI'S Short Horn denim western shirt.
*Although the flap part is different, for LEVIS denim western shirts of this era, I have only seen the Vaquero Shirt pattern or the pattern of the shirt I am wearing.
Since it's based on 50s Vintage,
I'd like to say all the stitching is orange, but actually...
You can see from the image that yellow stitching is used for the stitches running from the armpit to the hem,
and for the western yoke on the back.
We incorporated the unique characteristics of the vintage piece we based it on into this product.
It features "rainbow stitching."
We also meticulously recreated the snap buttons, which are also seen on vintage items.
Since this is a 5oz denim shirt,
you can enjoy the unique fading of light ounce denim.
Naturally, it pairs perfectly with denim, of course,
but also with chinos, military wear, etc.,
and it's also great to wear with shorts in the summer.
Please try it on at the store and consider it.
~Representative Goto appeared on Gairoku CH~
On March 24th (Monday) at 6 PM, in a YouTube video released by Gairoku CH,
JELADO representative Goto was featured.
He talks about JELADO's craftsmanship,
and his passion and dedication to denim.
Because it's based on vintage pieces,
we capture the unique characteristics of each item and incorporate them into our designs.
We hope that as many customers as possible
will learn about JELADO's LAST RESORT denim.

~USMC M44 Monkey Pants~
【Pre-order item, expected to arrive early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】
USMC M44 Monkey Pants were issued to the Marine Corps,
and are a popular item in the vintage industry,
affectionately known as "Monkey Pants."
The origin of their name is as follows...
Large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.
These large pockets were adopted to hold a "poncho,"
and the flaps were included to prevent the contents from falling out.
Because these pockets resemble the buttocks of a monkey,
they are called "Monkey Pants."
The production period for the M44 was actually very short, lasting only "1 year and 3 months,"
from July 1944 to around October 1945.
Furthermore, because they were issued to the "elite few"
of the U.S. Marine Corps, the overall production volume was small, making them quite expensive in the vintage market.
The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them were...
・Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb. 19 - Mar. 26, 1945)
・Around the Battle of Okinawa (Mar. 26 - Sep. 7, 1945)
Also, after World War II,
・Korean War (Jun. 25, 1950 - Jul. 27, 1953)
It seems they were frequently worn during these times.
Jelado's Monkey Pants use herringbone material.
Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.
And the buttons are donut buttons,
which also creates a vintage feel.
By wearing them frequently, you can enjoy the aging process.
You can enjoy them.
Native pattern half-length coats and
leather jackets... and even
coveralls match very well with them,
I also recommend pairing them with a chambray shirt.
Please make your reservations online or at the store.
Thank you.

~Regarding hem alterations for brought-in items~
Both JELADO stores used to offer hemming services for "other brands' denim" if brought to the store,
but since we have seen an increase in hemming for in-store and online purchases,
we are currently unable to accommodate "hemming for other brands' denim brought in by customers." We apologize for any inconvenience.
・Hemming for JELADO products purchased from our "dealer partners" will incur a fee.
*Hemming for JELADO products purchased directly from JELADO will continue to be handled as before.
