These boots tick all three boxes: 'design,' 'comfort,' and 'lightness.'

I, Uemura, highly recommend this pair to everyone... (seriously)

 

That's what these VAUDEVILLE boots are all about.

I apologize for repeating what I wrote a few days ago,

but I still want to emphasize it in this blog.

 

I love vintage, but to be honest, when it comes to boots, I'm a complete novice.

I admit it myself.

Although I own boots, I'm one of those people who stopped wearing them.

 

My shins hurt when I wear them,

so I can't wear them. I own them, but they're sleeping at the back of my shoe cabinet.

 

This pain was the trigger,

and I avoided wearing boots.

 

For me, these "VAUDEVILLE" boots were a turning point, you could say,

and they made me want to wear boots again in the future.

That's why I want to recommend them to everyone.

 

 

The setting is the Vaudeville theaters that were seen in New York and other big cities in America from the 1880s to the 1920s.

 

Vaudeville theaters were full of variety, with singing, dancing, comedy, magic, and more.

 

Stars of early silent films such as Charlie Chaplin, the Marx Brothers, Buster Keaton, and Laurel & Hardy were actually from Vaudeville theaters.

 

As traveling performers, they traveled from theater to theater.

 

These "Vaudeville" boots were created with the image of Vaudeville actors, who were also traveling performers.

 

These boots are not based on existing boots; rather, they are a product of designer "Mr. Riya Suzuki's" imagination.

 

Inspired by American and French boots from around 1910,

the "Vaudeville" is an outside-laced cap-toe boot with a high toe and a counter made of two separate pieces stitched together.

 

We've combined a slightly oblique original last with a small cap, a large counter, a low shaft, and a small heel to create the look of boots from that era.

 

By combining two construction methods, Goodyear welt and McKay stitching,

and strongly cinching the waist, we have "recreated the elegant silhouette" of boots from that time.

 

Imagining actors who like to show off, the toe has a unique shape with a line.

 

The leather is extremely soft and conforms well to the foot,

so these boots won't cause any stress to the wearer.

 

For today's delivery (not a full delivery),

the Oak Brown is available in 3 sizes: US 6.5, 7, and 11.

*6.5 is on hold.

 

The Oak Brown uses leather with clear shading, so you can enjoy the aging process as you wear them.
