Monday tradition, Weekly Sales Ranking TOP 5 - Flagship store

Thank you for always visiting our store.

Today's blog will be our usual Monday feature: the weekly sales ranking TOP 5!

5th Place

Vaquero Shirt【JP11115】

Ranking in 5th place is the denim Western shirt, a classic American casual item.

This masterpiece faithfully recreates Levi's Short Horn shirt, which is now difficult to obtain, with meticulous attention to detail in its stitching.

4th Place

JELADO Hubbell【CB02432】

Next up is the Hubbell jacket, a perfect reproduction of a 1940s Chimayo coat.

It's a versatile outerwear piece that can be worn over leather jackets or denim jackets.

3rd Place

JELADO 55Denim Jacket (55 Denim Jacket) 406XX Size34(XS)~40(L)【JP94406】

Following that is the 55 Denim Jacket, which has continued to receive strong support since its recent restock.

As spring approaches, more people are probably looking to wear denim jackets, aren't they?

Of course, the fabric is JELADO's proud trump card, the "Last Resort White Tag." It will show wonderful aging.

2nd Place

Rainbow Country 30's Style Horsehide Sports Jacket “HERCULES” Black JELADO Special【RCL-10013H-J24】

Coming in at 2nd place is the Rainbow Country Hercules, JELADO special order version...

However, this item sold out last week. Please look forward to the next release.

1st Place

And of course, 1st place goes to this──

JELADO USMC Souvenir Jacket 【JP03408】

This season's main attraction, the Sukajan!

We have faithfully reproduced a special vintage piece from our collection using very intricate hand embroidery. This pattern is a one-time only offer (and we don't know how many more times we can do this type of embroidery). Please consider it soon.

Summary

We have delivered the sales ranking. There are quite a few items that are already sold out or close to selling out. We hope this ranking will be helpful for your consideration.

〜USMC M44 Monkey Pants〜

【Pre-order item, scheduled for early March arrival】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】

Speaking of USMC M44 Monkey Pants,

these were pants issued to the Marine Corps,

and they are popular items in the vintage industry

under the nickname "Monkey Pants."

The origin of their name is as follows...

Large horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.

These large pockets were adopted to hold ponchos,

and the flaps were added to prevent the contents from falling out.

These pockets are called "Monkey Pants" because they resemble a monkey's hindquarters.

The production period of the M44 was actually very short, only "1 year and 3 months,"

from July 1944 to around October 1945.

Also, because they were issued to the "elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,

the overall production volume was small, so they fetch quite high prices in the vintage market.

The period during which the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them was...

・Battle of Iwo Jima (February 19 - March 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (March 26 - September 7, 1945).

Also, after World War II,

・Korean War (June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953)

They seem to have been widely worn during these periods.

JELADO's Monkey Pants use herringbone material.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.

And the buttons are donut buttons,

which also creates a vintage feel.

You can enjoy the aging process by wearing them thoroughly.

Native pattern half-length coats or

leather jackets... and even,

They pair very well with coveralls, and

I also recommend pairing them with chambray shirts.

Please make a reservation at the store or online.

Thank you.
