Introducing the Salem series.

The Salem series has been produced for the first time in 6 seasons.

This season's pattern, also displayed at our Flagship Store, is a reproduction of a vintage multi-colored piece we own.

 

 

The black fabric, as well as the multi-color, is a rare find in vintage items.

The warp threads are made from 100% Australian Merino wool, 40/2 count, using a "level-up wool" specification that brings out the quality of the yarn..

 

The weft yarn is a 5-count single yarn made of 90% wool and 10% nylon, achieving a firmness and resilience similar to British wool, while the added nylon provides both strength and softness.

 

Woven by skilled craftsmen using a rare, one-of-a-kind jacquard loom for all-over patterns in Japan, the fabric undergoes special napping and resin processing to achieve the unique texture of a blanket and a sponge-like softness.

 

 

To ensure that the patterns on both sides align during cutting and sewing, more fabric is required as the size increases, making it a labor-intensive process. However, we prioritized pattern balance and a luxurious feel, resulting in an exquisite arrangement.

 

 

Shell buttons are used to create an atmosphere and elegance reminiscent of the 1920s and earlier.

The Salem Vest is an item you'd want to wear over thermals now, and over a simple Madison or Smoker Shirt when it gets a little warmer.

The Salem Coat is especially useful now, so layer it over a denim jacket or leather to fend off the cold.

Of course, wearing these two pieces together is also recommended.

Additionally, for JELADO products purchased from our authorized

"dealers," hemming will incur a fee.

*Hemming services for products purchased directly at JELADO stores will be provided free of charge.

*When bringing in items, please cooperate by bringing them in a washed state.
