JELADO's 2024 theme is 'Sprout',

which represents a return to CEO Goto's roots.

As such, cherished items from 'Sprout',

JELADO's predecessor, are being released

in the 2024 collection, and this shirt is one of them.

 

'Printed corduroy' is often seen

in 1950s shirts and jackets.

 

It is actually one of the items whose value

has been increasing year by year.

 

Among the 'shirts' category of printed corduroy,

'Chess pattern' is one of the most famous designs.

*It is on record.

 

The CEO, Mr. Goto, has incorporated a vintage chess pattern

into JELADO's classic Westcoast Shirt.

Introducing our Last Resort Chino Cloth "41 Khaki".

 

The old 41 Khaki was discontinued with the last shipment in May 2023.

 

To release a new chino pant to replace it, we cut and analyzed a highly sought-after vintage 41 Khaki to produce the fabric from scratch.

 

Using American deep south cotton, we reproduced natural slub yarns.

 

Unlike the previous 41 Khaki, which was reactive dyed, this 41 Khaki is dyed with vat dyes.

 

The 41 Khaki, made with American cotton, shuttle looms, and vat dyes, is finished to preserve the atmosphere and texture of the original.

 

The ultimate chino pant, with attention to every detail from the raw cotton, yarn, weaving, and dyeing...

To reproduce the thick yet soft fabric from before the 1950s,

we thoroughly analyzed vintage flannel shirts.

Similar to Lee workwear, we used a testing institution to analyze in detail:

 

・Fiber length

・Twist coefficient

・Yarn count

・Number of threads per inch

 

Based on this analysis, we developed a completely new flannel fabric.

 

This product uses sulfur dye.

While the demand for sulfur dyeing has decreased in recent years,

the "aging" it undergoes with wear and its

soft "texture" and "feel" against the skin, like being wrapped in a towel,

are exceptionally good and highly recommended.

 

We receive many inquiries from customers concerned about sizing for this product.

We would appreciate it if you could consult with us in-store

rather than by phone (as we may not be able to accommodate inquiries depending on the situation, such as during store visits).
