Nostalgic Outfit
Good evening everyone.
Today, as usual for a Tuesday, I operated the store alone.
Since I was working alone, I had no choice but to take a selfie in the mirror. I was wearing the Rainbow Country A-2 in tobacco brown that I recently bought, and I'm doing my best to break in both the jacket and my pants!
For many years, Mr. Miyoshi kept asking me why I wasn't wearing an A-2. But I had my own idea of what was appropriate for my age and body type, and now that I'm 45 and everything has settled down, I decided it was time to try one on!
That's how it happened.
The first time I wore an A-2 was when I was 18. Since I got a Real McCoy's A-2 from the older sister who worked at the vintage clothing store I frequented in high school, I've occasionally gotten my hands on vintage pieces, but this feels like the second time I'm really breaking one in!
When I was buying vintage clothing, I used to buy A-2s quite often...
Now, I probably wouldn't find such good quality items at such good prices.
I secretly shadowbox in the back of the store when I'm working alone, wearing out my leather jacket.
But how long has it been since I wore this old-school American casual style?
People who like this style of American casual wear probably always dress this way, but I always liked to break from the mainstream, so I deliberately avoided it. But now, I like this!
This is perfect for me, with my moderate aging!
And this A-2, after just a little wear, the aging is fantastic!!
I'll leave all the detailed explanations to Kumazaki, lol.
But the speed at which it wrinkles and takes shape, the color contrast...
Wearing it with denim is good, but I want to pair it with chino pants...
My denim has also developed quite a bit, but I have to keep working on it for another 3 months!
If I keep saying that, when will I finally wear the A-2 with chinos!
