Today, we'll be introducing JELADO's classic short-sleeved Vincent Shirt, which is released every summer.
There are many variations, so please try to find your favorite pattern and color.
What is JELADO's classic "Vincent Shirt"?
The "Vincent Shirt" refers to a shirt style with a distinctive collar shape that JELADO has continued to produce as a classic.
This distinctive collar is called an "Italian collar," and it was created by a brand called "SIR GUY" that existed in the 1950s.
The "Vincent Shirt" was named after Gene Vincent, a representative rock and roller of the 50s who loved wearing Italian collar shirts.

This model features a kasuri pattern in similar colors, subtly highlighting the difference in material texture.

Next up is a version made with a thin, summer-like hake-me chambray fabric.
Hake-me chambray fabric is characterized by a weaving method where white threads subtly appear on the surface, creating a texture that resembles brush strokes, as its name suggests.Dark and light colored threads are alternately arranged in the weft,creating fine vertical stripes that almost look solid.
Vincent Shirt【SG12182】
This piece is tailored using precious hand-woven Bingo kasuri.
Bingo kasuri is one of Japan's three major kasuri textiles, alongside Iyo kasuri and Kurume kasuri, and is a traditional craft woven in Fuchu City and Fukuyama City in Hiroshima Prefecture.
This Bingo kasuri is indigo-dyed, and since it was originally a fabric for workwear, it is perfect as a fabric for American casual items. As it is indigo-dyed, you can, of course, enjoy its aging process.
Vincent Shirt 【SG12181】
This one uses 100% linen fabric. The fabric is quite sturdy, but because it's linen, it's exceptionally breathable.
JELADO S/S Vincent Shirt【SG82101】
Next up is a block check using a cotton-linen blend. We have this blue-based one and
this warm-toned one. Both are recommended as summer colors.

for items purchased in-store or online,
we are currently unable to process "hem alterations for other brands of denim that are brought in." We apologize for any inconvenience.
・Hem alterations for "JELADO products purchased from a dealer" will be charged.
*Hem alterations for JELADO products purchased at JELADO will continue to be handled as before.
