Today, we would like to introduce some leather jackets from FINE CREEK &CO, which have been receiving a lot of inquiries!
FINE CREEK &CO Joseph Jacket Deerskin Black【ACJK054】
First up is the Joseph jacket made from deerskin.
It uses carefully selected 1.6mm thick high-quality deerskin, tanned with vegetable tannins, and finished with dye. It's a deep black, dyed black to the core.
The design is based on a 1930s Cossack jacket. Details such as the patch pockets and front button specifications are taken from the A-1 jacket, which was the predecessor to the A-2 flight jacket.
Like the A-2, the back is luxuriously constructed from a single piece. Deerskin is smaller than horsehide, so using a single piece is quite difficult.
The side adjuster part also has a distinctive feature: a triangular stitch running from the hem upwards, where the adjuster is attached.
Currently, we have size 42 (XL) in stock.
FINE CREEK &CO tends to have a slightly tighter fit, but this model is about 175cm tall and weighs 55kg, so it has a slightly looser fit on him. If this size fits you, please consider it.
FINE CREEK &CO Berkeley【ACJK057】
Next up is the Berkeley, inspired by a transitional double sports jacket from the 1940s, before the shift to rider's jackets. The model is wearing size 40.
It uses 1.3mm thick horsehide, vegetable-tanned, with black dye applied over a slightly lighter brown base. This is what's known as "tea core."
The sleeves feature cuffs typical of a sports jacket, rather than zippers like a rider's jacket.
The center zipper also uses a 30s-40s style eyelet zipper.
The back is paneled
and has action pleats.
A very distinctive feature is the integrated flap and zipper pockets. This is also a detail typical of the 1930s to 1940s.
Here, he is wearing size 38. The fit is quite tight. We have sizes 38 and 40 in stock at the store.
FINE CREEK &CO Lindbergh Deer Black【ACJK050】
Next is the special Lindbergh, a 5th-anniversary limited edition made from Wapiti (American elk) leather.
The Lindbergh jacket was created with the story in mind of what if Charles Lindbergh, who was the first to successfully complete a solo transatlantic flight, had personally ordered a jacket from Leather Togs...
Leather Togs was a brand known as the "King of Leather" from the 1930s to the 1940s.
It uses Wapiti leather, which is distinctly different from regular deerskin.
We use 5mm thick leather, full vegetable-tanned, split to 2.6mm. Because it's from a large deer like an elk, the leather has a very rugged and substantial appearance, making a strong statement.
Currently, we have size 38 in stock. It's a tight fit, but I felt it had a bit more room than the Berkeley. If this size fits you, please consider it!
