We thoroughly analyzed vintage elements to create a new flannel shirt.
To reproduce the thick yet soft fabric feel of pre-1950s flannel, we thoroughly analyzed vintage flannel materials. Similar to Lee's workwear, we meticulously analyzed fiber length, twist coefficient, yarn count, and thread count, aiming to develop a new flannel fabric unlike any before. Representative brands with pre-1950s flannel materials include Pilgrim, Winterking, and Kingkole, and this time we analyzed a Pilgrim flannel shirt. In the process, we focused on the difference in yarn count between warp and weft, and the characteristics of the weft's thickness and thread count. We believe that the difference in yarn count (16/1 for warp x 3.5/1 for weft) and the thickness and low thread count of the weft were factors that created the unique texture of flannel shirts from that era.
This flannel shirt is dyed using sulfur dyes. Although the demand for sulfur dyeing has been decreasing in recent years and raw materials are also dwindling, we have produced this flannel shirt using this rare material. By wearing it, you can enjoy unique aging, such as fading and a soft texture. The special fabric, like being wrapped in a towel, will become addictive with every wear.
Using this supreme flannel fabric, we tailored it into a simple work shirt from the same era. The pockets are flapped-free, allowing for vintage-like styling. The sizing adopts dimensions close to our Union Worker Shirt RegularLength (standard flannel shirt), further enhancing the vintage atmosphere.

This shirt will allow you to enjoy spring coordination.

Available in two colors, mint and salmon raw, this item will also be enjoyable to choose from.

We have released "491-J" as a very special item. This item pays homage to "SPROUT," the vintage shop that was my origin 20 years ago. To open this shop, I saved money and went to America, gradually collecting items for the opening. Among them, I found a Lee house mark in my size, which I bought and collected. Based on this item, we analyzed the fabric and developed 10.5 oz light ounce "LASTRESORT DENIM."
This special denim is crafted with details rarely seen in regular light ounce denim, and accessories that match its quality were also planned.
All components, such as the large movable buttons, small movable buttons for the sleeves, and snap buttons used for the chest pockets, were custom-made.
Just like the original, by using gray and white sewing threads, we expressed a more subdued atmosphere and vintage feel. We also reproduced the shape of the patch pockets attached to the front, replicating Lee's unique style of sewing straight while leaving the bottom of the pocket extra.
By wearing it, the texture of slub yarn woven with three different thicknesses of warp yarn emerges, allowing you to enjoy random vertical fading like vintage denim.

This will be a perfect outer layer for the upcoming season.
