Good evening. This is Uemura from WEST.
This week will be a rush of new arrivals,
but instead of introducing them all at once,
I will introduce them one by one.
What I'm introducing today is
JELADO 519 Rebel Leather Pants【JP01316】
This is also one of the featured products for 2024SS.
It's a rather rugged item, but
looking back at the 2024SS products
(some have not arrived yet...),
there are many items that pair perfectly with it.
For example, this one...
JELADO Westcoast Shirt Corduroy【SG01102】
This printed corduroy shirt
has a strong first impression,
and to give an example of what customers say,
they say it's "flashy." However,
when customers try on such items,
they often like them, and both stores are seeing
some colors out of stock.
It's a common story that
customers like items more once they try them on,
despite their initial impression.
Therefore, I think you should try it on once,
regardless of whether you think it suits you or not.
So, today,
"G-Jean Niki," also known as
Yamamoto from WEST, wore these pants for us.
The leather used here is the same leather as the
44 Leather Jacket.
It is a combination-tanned (chrome → tannin) leather.
Chrome tanning provides durability and softness,
and tannin tanning allows the leather to develop a deep, rich color
the more it is used.
It's a 1.6mm thick horsehide,
with a slim silhouette based on the Levi's 519 model.
Since it's core-dyed leather, it will age beautifully
as you wear it.
Since its appearance will change from when you first bought it,
you won't get tired of it and you can wear these leather pants
for a long time, so please do try them on in store.

Last Resort Chino Cloth
This is a stencil pattern for 41 Khaki...
It is extremely limited in quantity,
and is a very popular item.
We have samples for fitting at both stores,
but even we staff members can only get them by reservation,
so if you're considering it,
please hurry.
The 41 Khaki stencil changes with age
as you wear it and wash it repeatedly.
Initially, the stencil is dark,
but it fades with washing,
completely changing the look.
If you are considering reserving this item,

I'd like to summarize them a bit.

The former 41 Khaki was discontinued
with its last arrival in May 2023.
To release new chinos to replace it,
we cut and analyzed expensive vintage 41 Khaki
and produced the fabric from scratch.
Using deep South American cotton,
we recreated natural slub yarns.
While the previous 41 Khaki was dyed with reactive dyes,
this 41 Khaki is dyed with vat dyes.
The 41 Khaki, made with American cotton, shuttle loom, and vat dye,
is finished to retain the original feel and texture.
From the raw cotton, yarn, weaving, to dyeing,
this is the ultimate chino pant with attention to every detail...
That is JELADO's

The last time it arrived, it sold out
incredibly fast, and many customers are
waiting for the next arrival of this highly popular item,
so if you are interested,
please reserve it at the store.
We have fitting samples in XS, M, L, and XL at the store.

The base is from pre-1950s,
a thick but soft fabric.
To reproduce this, we thoroughly analyzed
vintage flannel shirts, and similar to Lee workwear,
we sent them to a testing institute for detailed analysis of:
・Fiber length
・Twist coefficient
・Yarn count
・Number of threads per inch
Based on this analysis, we developed a new flannel from scratch.
This product uses
sulfur dyes.
While there's less demand for sulfur dyeing recently,
the "aging" it undergoes with wear and the
"fabric feel" and "skin touch" that's as soft as being wrapped in a towel
are exceptionally good and highly recommended.
This product receives a lot of inquiries
regarding sizing, but it would be best if you could consult us in person
(as we may not be able to assist over the phone due to store visits, etc.)

"Last Resort" means a trump card or one's last resort,
and if the white tag is the first line of defense,
the "blue tag" series is the fourth line, following the black tag and brown tag.
While the white and black tags focused on LEVI'S,
and the brown tag on 41 Khaki...
What about the blue tag?
The blue tag is a collection centered on workwear,
and when it comes to representative workwear,
"Lee" is indispensable.
The LAST RESORT "blue tag" focuses on light ounce denim workwear.
Since it's 10.5 oz denim,
unlike the white and black tags, the lower ounce blue tag will undoubtedly show a different kind of aging.
In that sense,
it's a very exciting series.
