Although it's still a bit chilly, it's the perfect time to break in a leather jacket.

Given the weather, today we'd like to introduce you to one of Jelado's three classic leather jackets: the 44 Leather Jacket.

 

JELADO 44Leather Jacket (44 Leather Jacket) Horse hide Semi-aniline Finish【JP94409】

 

The 44 Leather Jacket, originally based on the 1st War model, reproduces details from the original War model denim jacket, such as the no-flap chest pocket and four laurel wreath buttons.

 

 

It uses 1.6mm horsehide finished with a combination tanning method that blends chrome and tannin tanning.

It doesn't feel particularly stiff when you first start wearing it, and you can enjoy the unique aging process of horsehide.

 

The base leather is dyed light brown, then overdyed black at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo, allowing you to enjoy the aging process as the brown core emerges with wear.

 

The iron laurel wreath buttons will also rust due to oxidation, allowing you to feel the texture and aging over time.

 

 

When worn, it gives a clean impression, similar to a denim jacket, and we highly recommend trying it with denim.
