The much-anticipated LEE-style 491-B blouson is now available for pre-order.

491-B Work Blouson【JP94491B】

Based on LEE's 91-B from the 1960s, we have faithfully reproduced the sewing specifications from a vintage piece we own.

The fabric used is Last Resort Blue Tag Denim.

What is Last Resort Blue Tag Denim?

Last Resort Blue Tag Denim is a 10.5 oz fabric that represents the current JELADO, created by dismantling a 1940s LEE coverall and analyzing the yarn thickness, weave density, and slub strength. As a result of this analysis, we randomly wove three different thicknesses of warp yarns to reproduce the faded vintage look that remains today, creating a fabric with uneven vertical fading.

The weft yarn is sulfur-dyed gray. The fabric color is subdued, creating a classic atmosphere.

For the stitching, as with other blue tag series workwear, white and gray threads are used separately to create a garment that further enhances the classic and rugged impression. (The pull tab specifications have been changed.)

True to workwear, both double and triple stitching are used.

(The color is slightly different, but it's the same product. The previous images are closer to the actual item.)

For the zipper pull on the chest pocket, we originally produced a teardrop-shaped pull with the JELADO engraving specifically for this item. The "JLD" piss name is also the same.

We faithfully follow the rare vintage detail where the zipper teeth are hidden when the zipper is closed.
