〜Double Jacquard Knit〜

September was relentlessly hot,

but now that it's October,

it feels more cold than cool.

How is everyone doing?

 

Last week, we received the

Newberry Knit【CB83816】

 

 

Today, I'd like to introduce a styling

that uses this knit.

 

First, let me introduce the Newberry Knit,

which has been released after a long time.

 

This knit is a "native patterned crew neck knit"

knitted with jacquard.

 

It is based on vintage knits,

with altered patterns and sizes.

 

It's not a single jacquard but a "double jacquard,"

so it's thick but can be worn stress-free,

and it's an excellent knit for heat retention.

 

Although the pattern has a strong impact,

since it's a brown-based knit,

it's actually easy to use and is a "highly recommended knit"

at WEST.

 

This time, I tried pairing this Newberry Knit

with cargo pants.

The popular Vichy is based on the French military's

"masterpiece" M47 pants.

 

The French military's "M47" pants are divided into

early models (1947-1960) and late models (after 1960).

 

Early models: cotton twill fabric / straight cut

Late models: herringbone twill fabric / tapered cut

 

JELADO's Vichy focuses on and produces the early model.

 

As an earth tone, it's very versatile,

and as it ages and fades, it takes on a more vintage feel.

 

 

 

 

Both the knit and pants are earth tones,

so the colors match perfectly.

 

The subdued olive of the pants

makes the knit's impact stand out even more.
