Rainbow Country Double pin Garrison-belt【RCL-60001】

 

This is a double-pin garrison belt from Rainbow Country, a "leather specialist" that even finishes its own leather.

 

 

The leather is vegetable-tanned bridle leather from Tochigi Leather, one of Japan's leading tanneries.

 

 

In Japanese, "bridle" refers to a head harness for horses. Yes, bridle leather was originally used for equestrian equipment.

The bridle is the part that connects the horse and rider via the reins, and if it breaks, it can lead to a fall.

Therefore, robust materials were required to protect human lives.

 

Bridle leather, which originated in England where there is a lot of rain, not only required robustness but also water resistance.

Therefore, the most robust parts of cowhide are used, vegetable tanning is applied, and then oils and waxes are permeated over time to improve water resistance and durability.

 

Available in 4 colors. The beige is undyed natural leather, so you can expect it to age beautifully with sun exposure.

In addition, we also have a "Tea Core" version, a special JELADO order, where the surface of the natural leather is dyed black.

Having a belt for each pair of pants makes it easy to change, and since bridle leather hardly stretches, there's less worry about the holes changing compared to other belts.

Because it has such characteristics, summer is a season when the unit price of purchased items is lower compared to winter.
