[Staff-Favorite Boot Care!] Don't miss our pre-order announcements!

Good evening.

This is Komori from JELADO Ebisu store.

Thank you for visiting us today.

Today, I would like to show you the changes in our staff's favorite boots before and after maintenance.

RED WING Iron Ranger Amber Harness【RW8111D】Price ¥50,710 (tax included)

Minnesota is a major iron ore producing region in North America, and the area near Lake Superior is famous for its abundant iron ore deposits, and this area was called "Iron Range".
Red Wing's Iron Ranger boots feature a reinforced toe design called "capped toe," which was favored in mines and oil fields.
These are high-grade boots that revive the ultimate toughness sought by miners who crushed rocks and extracted minerals in the Iron Range, which supported the development of America at the time. The sole uses a Nitrile Cork sole.
It is a blend of cork and oil-resistant rubber.
There are also two types, one of which uses a mini Vibram 430.

Made of oiled leather, they conform to your feet and have an excellent feel.
They can be paired with classic items like denim, as well as a variety of other items.
They are recommended for both men and women.

These are the Iron Ranger boots that a staff member has been wearing for about 10 months.

They've been worn quite a bit, so it was about time for some maintenance, which we've now done.

Before maintenance, the toes, in particular, showed noticeable scuffs, so we applied cream to them.

This time, we used this for care.

Shoe Cream Jar M.MOWBRAY Price ¥1,100 (tax included)

We used M.MOWBRAY Shoe Cream Jar in colorless.

This cream is an emulsion-type shoe cream that nourishes, moisturizes, and softens leather shoes, making them last longer. It has a soft feel and spreads well with a small amount, and also has excellent penetrating properties. It contains a balanced blend of water, wax, and oil, providing a natural shine that brings out the original texture of the leather. The staff carefully applied a small amount by hand.

Below are the boots after care.

What do you think?

The scuffs on the toe are no longer noticeable, and they've become clean with a slight sheen.

When they're this clean, you can still wear them actively for a long time.

Many people only brush their boots after wearing them once.

I also make sure to brush mine after wearing them for a day.

I try to apply cream once every 1 to 1.5 months. The frequency of care changes depending on how often you wear them.

If you take good care of them, they will last longer and you'll grow more attached to them.

And please compare it side-by-side with a new Iron Ranger in the store.

The new Iron Ranger is on the right side of the image.

It seems the brown has deepened compared to the new one due to wear.

You can see that it has developed a nice character.

Also, they pair perfectly with denim and chino pants.

I will continue to wear them and show you how they age over time.

Also, please feel free to ask about size availability at the store.

Next is this one.

Pre-orders for the re-stock of 41 Khaki in khaki and olive began on 2/24 at 12:00.

Similar to the Last Resort Denim, we disassembled carefully selected vintage M41 KHAKI pieces and thoroughly crafted the material, considering the production background and technical capabilities of the time, including yarn thickness, unevenness shape, twist count, and twist direction.

The unevenness of the yarn is not too strong or too weak, reproducing a natural slub yarn.

While previous materials were dyed with reactive dyes, this time we used vat dyes, which were used at the time.

Compared to modern reactive dyes, vat dyes were inferior in quality but were quite excellent for dyes of the 1950s in terms of fastness, abrasion resistance, and light resistance, so they were apparently used for tough materials such as work clothes and towels.

By using American cotton, shuttle looms, and vat dyes to allow for aging as in those days, and washing them repeatedly, we have created a fabric that evokes vintage fabrics of that era, so we believe you will enjoy JELADO's new 41 KHAKI.

The ultimate chino cloth, carefully crafted in every aspect of raw cotton, yarn, weaving, and dyeing, is the LASTRESORT CHINO CLOTH.

We have reproduced distinctive features such as offset belt loops and double-welt pockets with a 2mm width, just like vintage ones.

While pockets usually use a pocketing fabric, we use separate chino fabric, just like the vintage we sampled.

Strong puckering also appears on the side seams, adding to the rugged impression when worn with the thick silhouette.

By matching the stitching pitch to that of the time, we express a more classic 41 Khaki atmosphere.

It has a deep rise and a wide-leg silhouette.

This is a recommended pair that goes well with denim jackets and flannel shirts. We encourage you to try on the comfortable fit.

Thank you for the positive feedback on both colors.

You can pre-order online, but we also have samples of the previous fabric available in store. You can check the size. Reservations are possible, so please visit the store.

Thank you for reading until the end.
