再入荷、JELADO 定番の茶芯エンジニアブーツ!~Flagship store~

Restocked! JELADO's classic tea-core engineer boots! ~Flagship store~

Lately, we've seen an increase in customers coming in search of boots.

So, this time, I'd like to introduce JELADO the BOOTED's staple engineer boots.

JELADO the BOOTED ENGINEER BOOT BLACK (Brown Core) [JB94901]

JELADO the BOOTED is a new label, supervised by Mr. Ryo Suzuki, similar to The 2 Monkeys, which will offer a lineup that is more aligned with classic American casual wear.

The first release from JELADO the BOOTED was these engineer boots, a classic American casual staple.

(The second release, service shoes, is also very popular and currently on sale.)

U.S.N 41 Service Shoes [JB94902]

The upper uses very rare horsebutt leather (horse rump leather).

Horsebutt leather has a very dense fiber structure, and as you wear it, it develops dynamic wrinkles. Since it uses brown core leather, the color will gradually fade, allowing you to enjoy a bold aging process.

Furthermore, since there is no toe cap, the shape of the toe naturally flattens, giving it a vintage look.

With a slightly lower heel and no toe cap or steel in the toe, these engineer boots offer a surprisingly lightweight feel.

We currently have a wide range of sizes available in-store. Please check them out.

Point 6 Classic Casual Light Crew Sox [SW-P62631]

And, speaking of indispensable companions for boots, socks come to mind.

These are boot socks recommended by Mr. Ryo Suzuki, the director of The 2 Monkeys. They use merino wool, a high-performance material widely used by outdoor brands, which keeps the inside of your boots constantly comfortable.

Please consider them along with your boots.

〜USMC M44 Monkey Pants〜

Pre-order Item: Monkey Trousers [CT11344] - Arriving early March

The USMC M44 Monkey Pants were issued to the Marine Corps,

and are a popular item in the vintage industry, affectionately known as "Monkey Pants."

The origin of their name is as follows...

They feature large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.

These large pockets were adopted to store ponchos,

and the flaps were included to prevent contents from falling out.

Because these pockets resemble a monkey's rump,

they are called "Monkey Pants."

The M44 was in production for a very short period, only "one year and three months,"

from July 1944 to around October 1945.

Moreover, as they were issued to the "elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,

the overall production volume was low, making them quite expensive in the vintage market.

The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them include...

・Battle of Iwo Jima (February 19 - March 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (March 26 - September 7, 1945).

And also after World War II, during the

・Korean War (June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953).

It seems they were frequently worn during these periods.

JELADO's Monkey Pants use herringbone material.

Additionally, they are dyed with vat dyes.

And the buttons are donut buttons,

adding to the vintage feel.

By wearing them consistently, you can enjoy the aging process.

They pair exceptionally well with native-patterned half-length coats

leather jackets, and even

coveralls.

I also recommend pairing them with a chambray shirt.

Please pre-order them in-store or online.

Thank you.
