We thoroughly analyzed vintage elements to create a new flannel shirt. This flannel shirt aimed to reproduce the thick yet soft fabric texture of pre-1950s vintage flannels. Similar to Lee workwear, we meticulously analyzed fiber length, twist coefficient, yarn count, and thread density to develop a new flannel fabric unlike any before. Representative brands with pre-1950s flannel materials include Pilgrim, Winterking, and Kingkole, and this time we analyzed a Pilgrim flannel shirt.
This flannel shirt is dyed with sulfur dyes. While the demand for sulfur dyeing has decreased in recent years and raw materials are scarce, we created this flannel shirt using this rare material. Wearing it allows you to enjoy unique aging, such as fading and a soft texture. The special towel-like fabric will become addictive with every wear.
Using this ultimate flannel fabric, we tailored it into a simple work shirt from the same era. The pockets are flapped and designed for vintage-like styling. The sizing is similar to our Union Worker Shirt RegularLength (standard flannel shirt), further enhancing the vintage atmosphere.
This is the shirt that was also introduced on Higashino Denim. It's a really soft and comfortable shirt to wear. This time, our CEO, Goto, cut and analyzed vintage fabric to create this flannel shirt. It's a new flannel shirt with incredible attention to detail. I'm also looking forward to seeing the actual product when it arrives. It comes in two colors, so you can choose your favorite. I think this flannel shirt will be great for spring and autumn, so I hope you'll wear the Farmers Shirt this spring. Also, I think it's a perfect match for the new blue tag painter pants and coveralls from the 2024SS collection. We'll introduce these with staff coordination once they arrive. We are currently taking reservations online. It is scheduled to arrive from the end of February to March. Please look forward to its arrival. It will also be available in stores, so please try it on.
Next, I'd like to introduce a new arrival.

We created the ultimate souvenir jacket by entrusting the embroidery to artisans in Kiryu who still uphold traditional techniques, just like in vintage pieces. They used rayon thread and a horizontal embroidery machine, just like in those days, to carefully stitch each piece. The vintage piece we used as a base was a one-of-a-kind military Sukajan (souvenir jacket), a custom order for a soldier in the air force, which we faithfully reproduced. To better replicate this piece, we paid special attention to the materials. For the velvet, we used a domestic material with a firm texture and a subdued sheen. For the rayon satin lining, we used filament yarn for the warp to create a lustrous look and spun yarn for the weft to add fullness. Made from 100% rayon, it faithfully reproduces the vintage Sukajan, allowing you to experience the texture of the original vintage souvenir jacket. And just like in the past, after the quilt embroidery is done, the quilting is done by hand, making it an exceptionally elaborate piece. The batting is made from real waste cotton, which reproduces the "batting" used in vintage jumpers and furniture, collected from various discarded fiber materials. Therefore, while we cannot provide detailed quality information, we hope that those who appreciate the genuine vintage flavor and weight will enjoy wearing it.
The embroidery is also quite elaborate and intricate.
The lining embroidery is incredibly cool!
Please try it on while we still have it in stock.
We look forward to your visit.
Thank you for reading until the end.
