This time, I'll also intersperse some vintage stories,
so please bear with me and read on.
Now available for pre-order,
the Age of Longing 407EXX is based on,
as many of you know, the 40s LEVI'S 506XX.
The history of the 1st model is long, and according to the资料 I have,
the 506XX existed in 1904, making it a model that has been around for 120 years.
On July 1, 1937, the red tab, which is now standard,
was first attached to the 506XX due to an idea by Chris Lucia.
Time passed, and then came World War II...
During this era, due to material controls, design changes were unavoidable, and LEVI'S also faced this problem.
The previous five-button design changed to four buttons,
and instead of buttons with the company name, laurel wreath buttons were used.
The model with the chest pocket flap removed is the
『LEVI'S S506XX』
The extremely popular "War Model,"
which JELADO offers as a leather jacket
under the name "44 Leather Jacket."

After the war, with material controls lifted,
LEVI'S was about to revert to its original details and introduce new denim,
but a new problem arose.
There was a large quantity of fabric used for the wartime model
still in the factory.
Perhaps due to cost considerations, LEVI'S entered a transitional period
where this fabric was used up before switching to new denim.
JELADO's Age of Longing 407EXX focuses on the LEVI'S 506XX from this transitional period,
we have adopted a very dark denim.
It's a strongly slubbed fabric with a nep feel.
Repeated wear will cause it to age, developing a random vertical fade reminiscent of rain.
The 15oz thickness and dark hue are characteristic features of the 1st type 407EXX details:
・Single pocket on the left side only
・Single-sided red tab
・Narrow waistband (compared to 406XX)
・Pin-buckle cinch back
・15oz
The cinch back, or "buckle," on the back above the waistband is used for size adjustment.
