This item uses the same popular material as before, but with a different color scheme. It uses Bishu-produced double-weave melton, which is 90% wool and 10% nylon. It is woven in a broken twill pattern, making the weave less visible and giving it a luxurious and vintage feel. This material is meticulously crafted through multiple processing steps, including shrinking after weaving, double-sided napping, and a clear finish process where the fabric is pressed with rollers to create firmness. The sleeves are made of soft and supple cowhide leather with increased graininess. Similar to last year, the range of motion has been expanded to prevent stress when worn, but it has been tailored to an outer silhouette suitable for adults. By combining beige melton with brown leather, it creates a simpler stadium jacket that adults can wear. The leather sleeves use 1.8mm cowhide, but they are finished softly to prevent stress during movement.

 

Arm part

The leather part is cowhide, and its characteristic is that it develops a grainy texture.

I believe you will enjoy its aging as you wear it.

This year again, we commissioned a handler to apply patches and embroidery using a SINGER 114K103 hand-crank sewing machine assembled in England in the 1950s. The patches are intricately crafted by hand, using a combination of chenille and chain embroidery. This time, we faithfully reproduced the team embroidery from a 1940s skating rink. The same design as the embroidery is produced with chenille patches. As it is used, the luster will settle, and it will age beautifully. Currently, it's cold, so I'm wearing a Grassbag [JP83814] in grass green over my denim jacket. Once spring arrives, I plan to wear the denim jacket as my main outerwear.
