Today, we will be introducing a refreshing short-sleeved shirt that is sure to be a big hit this summer.
S/S Vincent Shirt【SG21112】
This is JELADO's classic Italian collar box shirt, made from atomic-patterned rayon crepe fabric.
What is JELADO's classic "Vincent Shirt"?
A "Vincent Shirt" refers to a style of shirt with a distinctive collar shape that JELADO has consistently produced as a classic item.
This rolled collar is called an "Italian collar," and it was made by a brand called "SIR GUY" that existed in the 1950s.
The "Vincent Shirt" was named after Gene Vincent, a rock and roll legend of the 50s who favored Italian collar shirts.
On the left chest, there's a subtle double-welt pocket, just like vintage designs.
The fabric adopted this time is rayon crepe carefully woven in Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture.
First, the raw fabric is reactive-dyed, and then pigment discharge printing is applied, using an advanced processing method. This processing method causes blurring and unevenness, allowing you to enjoy a unique, vintage-inspired texture.
Pigment discharge printing is a rare technique that requires a large amount of chemicals and wastewater treatment, so only a limited number of factories in Japan can produce it.
The warp uses 120d filament rayon, achieving a silky luster, beautiful drape, and vibrant color. The weft uses 30/- spun rayon, adding a soft texture and matte finish.
Furthermore, by alternately weaving S-twist and Z-twist highly twisted yarns, a fine creping effect is created, resulting in a luxurious appearance with a subtle sheen.
This masterpiece shirt will likely represent JELADO this season. Don't miss it.
