Black Tag Setup, 11-Month Aging Report ~Flagship Store~

The other day, we shared a blog post about the 301EXX, which is currently in stock.
The black tag setup worn by our Ebisu store staff has just completed its 11th month and first wash, so today we will be presenting a fading report.
Both the top and bottom have been washed 5 times. They were thoroughly washed for an extended period with detergent free of bleach and fluorescent brighteners. They were worn almost daily, and from autumn to spring, they were also worn as pajamas at night.

First, the report on the pants.
The most noticeable change might be the whiskers. The characteristic deep dark color of the black tag creates a nice contrast.
Since slub yarn, which easily produces neps, is used for the warp, the rough vertical fading characteristic of 1940s XX denim is clearly visible.
Because I often kneel when serving customers or cleaning in the store, there's a strong fade on the right knee.
The selvage and honeycomb fading are also visible.
The wallet-shaped fade on the back pocket is clear.

Next is the denim jacket, the 407EXX.
The front also shows some fading in places.
Clear honeycombs on the arms.
Dense puckering on the waist belt.
That concludes the 11-month fading report.
