Summer is finally here, and it's been a long time since we've heard phrases like "don't expect to find denim and leather jackets when you want them." Among American casual fans these days, it's not uncommon to hear "leather jackets are for summer."
So today, we'd like to tell you about the 24/7 Leather Sports Jacket from JELADO's classic leather collection.
JELADO 24/7 Leather Sports Jacket【AG72417】
The 24/7 Leather Sports Jacket was named with the idea that "we want you to wear it out tirelessly, like a convenience store open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."
We paid special attention to the leather so it could be worn every day. We used approximately 1.6mm thick horsehide, and by combining chrome and tannin tanning, we achieved both the plasticity of tannin tanning, which creates wrinkles, and the suppleness of chrome tanning.
Here is an aging sample of the Rebel Jacket, which uses the same leather, although it is a different model.

As you can see, it is brown-core leather. After dyeing the base a light brown, black was sprayed on by "oka-zome" (hill dyeing) at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo. Just like denim that fades and ages, the black on top peels off to reveal the brown base, creating a material that changes over time.
The style lives up to its 24/7 name, with a design that allows you to casually throw it on every day.
Incorporating details from minor brand sports jackets of the 1930s, action pleats are placed on the back for greater ease of movement.
Although it has a loose silhouette to begin with, the range of motion in the arms is further expanded.
The zipper end features eyelets, a hallmark of 1930s sports jackets.
Even the side adjusters are meticulously crafted, featuring engraved buckles.
This sports jacket is packed with details as described above. As I mentioned at the beginning, please check it out before autumn arrives and sizes start to run out!
