So today we will be introducing the 24/7 Leather Sports Jacket, one of JELADO's standard leather items.
JELADO 24/7 Leather Sports Jacket [AG72417]
The 24/7 Leather Sports Jacket was named with the idea that "just like a convenience store that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we want you to wear it without taking a break."
We also paid special attention to the leather, so that the bag can be worn every day. We used horsehide that is about 1.6 mm thick, and by combining chrome and tannin tanning, we achieved both the characteristic of tannin tanning, which has the plasticity that allows wrinkles to be engraved into it, and the suppleness of chrome tanning.
This is a different model, but an aged sample of the Rebel Jacket, which uses the same leather.
JELADO Rebel Jacket Horse Hide Semi Aniline Finish Black [SG71428]
As you can see, it is leather with a brown core. After dyeing the base light brown, we sprayed it with black using a hill dyeing method at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo. Just like denim, where the indigo gradually fades and changes over time, the black on top peels off, revealing the brown of the base material.
The style lives up to the name 24/7 and is designed to be worn casually every day.
It incorporates details from a sports jacket made by a minor brand in the 1930s, with action pleats on the back for easier movement.
Although the silhouette is already loose, it allows for a greater range of motion for your arms.
The zipper ends are made with eyelets, a hallmark of sports jackets from the 1930s.
Even the side adjusters are designed with an engraved buckle.
This sports jacket is packed with details like the ones above. As I mentioned at the beginning, be sure to check it out before autumn arrives and sizes start to run out!
