The Pharaoh jacket is a car coat worn by young car club members in the United States in the 1950s and 60s to keep warm. The name became popular when it was worn by the delinquent group "Pharaoh Gang" in the 1973 film "American Graffiti."

 

JELADO releases pharaoh jackets every year, and this time we will introduce three types of pharaoh jackets released in AW25.

 

1. Irvine Short Pharaoh 

 

 

Irvine Short Pharaoh [SG13441]

 

First up is the Lorvine Short Pharaoh.

Of all the Pharaoh jackets released this year, this one has the shortest length and a slightly loose silhouette.

 

 

The tweed fabric uses a special spun yarn made from twisted kemp yarn for the weft, creating a classic atmosphere.

 

 

The collar, cuffs and ribbing are finished with jacquard knitting.It gives off a more classical impression.

 

It also goes well with denim.

 

2. MELS Pharaoh Jacket

 

 

MELS Pharaoh Jacket [SG13440]

 

nextThis is the MELS Pharaoh Jacket.

This MELS Pharaoh Jacket is available in two colors: Salt & Paper and Black.

 

 

The jacket follows the classic length. The outer fabric is made of 90% wool and 10% nylon spun yarn, with a double-woven melton finish that gives it a thick and firm texture.

 

 

The quilted lining ensures excellent heat retention, making it a perfect piece for the depths of winter.

 

 

This is a simple piece that goes well with T-shirts as well as more formal outfits such as shirts.

 

 

3.POMONA Leather Pharaoh Jacket

 

The endThis is a leather pharaoh named "POMONA."

 

 

Pharaoh Jacket【SG94412】

 

The Leather Pharaoh is made from 1.6mm thick horsehide, the same as the three classic JELADO leather jackets. By combining chrome tannins with the horsehide, it has a firm yet supple finish.

 

 

The base is dyed light brown and then hill-dyed to create a black brown core leather, which will develop a deeper patina over time as you wear it.

 

 

The lining is also quilted, ensuring ample heat retention.

 

 

In addition to the three types of Pharaoh jackets released this year, we also have the previously released "Ventura" and "Van Nuys" available in stores.
