Today, we're introducing a product that garnered a huge response, receiving many pre-orders on the very first day it became available for reservations.

 

JELADO Age of Longing 407EXX Vintage Finish 【JP01407EXX】

 

 

 

 

The direct-store-exclusive black tag series 407EXX Vintage Finish has arrived.

 

Instead of the bold whiskering on the sleeves, distinct fading on the pockets and yoke that comes from aggressively breaking in one-wash denim,

we applied a treatment to achieve a natural, time-worn fade often seen in vintage items.

 

 

 

 

The base for this item is a vintage piece that served as the original model for our 407EXX.

While replicating its natural creasing and fading, we finished it with a slightly darker color.

This approach allows the garment to achieve a perfect balance as it's worn over time.

 

 

The processing involves adding subtle whiskering and fading with shaving and paper rubbing,

followed by a one-wash (OW) treatment. Pinning is then used to emphasize areas where fading is desired.

Next, bio-washing is performed, followed by refining wash.

This includes a light decolorization process to prevent color transfer and achieve a clean surface finish.

 

 

 

 

After making the rubbed areas slightly whiter, a grinder is used to enhance the light and dark contrasts.

Furthermore, "hypochlorite rubbing" with sodium hypochlorite is applied manually to reproduce a more realistic worn-in feel.

Then, a gray-beige dye is added to areas where puckering and fading became too strong,

to create a dirty, vintage-like texture.

 

 

 

 

To achieve a realistic vintage feel, we went through many steps to pursue the perfect color and atmosphere.

While offered as a vintage finish, you can still enjoy further aging by wearing it.

The final finish will vary depending on how each person wears it, so please enjoy the aging process from here on.

Compared to the regular one-wash type, the shoulder and body width are slightly smaller, but they will become accustomed to your body as you wear them.
