JELADO Age of Longing Black Tag 407EXX Size34(XS)~38(M) Denim JKT【JP94407E】

The Age of Longing 407EXX, which was released in a small quantity in December,

sold out in an instant.

 

I'm sure you're all familiar with the LAST RESORT "Black Tag",

but this is the second installment of the Last Resort series,

following the original "White Tag" that was released earlier.

 

Compared to the white tag, the black tag has a stronger black hue

instead of a blue hue.

 

Jelado categorizes the 1947 models into early and late types,

and the white tag is positioned as the late 1947 type with a strong blue hue denim fabric,

and the 501XX of this era is called:

 

"The finest masterpiece in 501XX history"

 

If you want to know why it's called that,

The white tag is a denim fabric that focuses on the XX fabric of the 50s.

 

So, what about the "Black Tag" with its strong black hue?

 

World War II ended in 1945,

and during the war, Levi's factories were producing

the "War Model" that everyone loves.

 

After the war ended, material controls were lifted,

but it took a considerable amount of time for the details to return to their original form.

 

The reason for this is that there were still a lot of denim fabric and subsidiary materials

left over from the War Model.

 

LEVI'S denim fabrics also had No.1 denim to No.3 denim.

(I only know up to No.3, but if there's a No.4 or something, please let me know.)

This refers to the quality of the denim fabric.

 

No.2 is a cheaper version of No.1 denim,

and No.3 is a cheaper version of No.2 denim.

I wonder if the denim fabric used for the War Model was No.2 or No.3 denim?

 

After this denim fabric was used up,

it transitioned to what Jelado calls the "White Tag",

but the black tag denim falls into the transitional period from the end of the war to when the denim fabric changed.

 

It's a 15-ounce fabric,

and it uses slubby yarn, so when it's worn and aged,

it will develop vertical fading like falling rain.

 

The real pleasure of denim, above all,

is "fading".

Fading, which is essential for "wearing" denim,

will be completely different for each person, so I think this pleasure is

the greatest charm of denim.

 

This time, 400 more pieces have been produced,

The old 41 Khaki was discontinued

with its last arrival in May 2023.

 

To release a new chino pant in its place,

we cut up and analyzed a highly valued Vintage 41 Khaki,

and produced the fabric from scratch.

 

Using American deep south cotton,

we recreated natural slub yarn.

 

While the previous 41 Khaki was dyed with reactive dyes,

this 41 Khaki is dyed with vat dyes.

 

The 41 Khaki, made with US cotton, shuttle loom, and vat dyes,

is finished to preserve the atmosphere and texture of the original at that time.

 

The ultimate chino pant, meticulously crafted in every aspect,

from raw cotton, yarn, weaving, and dyeing...

The previous arrival sold out at an incredible pace,

a trump card, a last resort, and if the white tag is the first line of defense,

the fourth line, following the black and brown tags, is the

"blue tag" series.

 

While the white and black tags focus on LEVI'S,

the brown tag focuses on 41 Khaki...

So, what about the blue tag??

 

The blue tag is a collection centered around workwear,

and when it comes to representative workwear,

"Lee" is indispensable.

 

The LAST RESORT "blue tag" focuses on

light ounce denim workwear.

 

Since it's 10.5 oz denim,

unlike the white and black tags, the lighter ounce blue tag will undoubtedly

show a different kind of aging process.

 

In that sense,

this is a very exciting series.

This is based on the "LAST RESORT 41Khaki" which is currently taking reservations,

but the fabric is different.

 

It is a 100% cotton twisted yarn twill fabric.

The warp uses twisted sulfide-dyed yarn, and the weft uses

similarly sulfide-dyed black yarn, resulting in a thick and firm fabric.

 

Since it's 100% cotton, with repeated wear,

it will develop a beautiful aging process,

allowing you to enjoy the changing appearance.

 

Since this is produced only once a year, we believe there are many customers

who have been eagerly waiting for it.

This long-awaited "41 Covert" is finally available for pre-order.
