I will introduce its aging process

in this blog post.

 

 

I think he's been wearing it for about six months to a year,

but he must have been wearing it quite hard, right?

 

That's because Minamikawa-san, who also wears it in his private life,

rides a motorcycle, and as you can see in the image above,

the wrinkles on the arms are magnificent.

 

As I just mentioned, the arm wrinkles are magnificent..., and

the brown undertone is not faint but quite prominent.

 

 

When zoomed in, the atmosphere is conveyed even better.

You can truly feel the unique atmosphere of brown-core leather,

and it exudes a sense of masculinity.

This Rebel Jacket has an overwhelming presence,

and incredible character...

It's irresistible, isn't it?!

 

It uses 1.6mm thick horsehide,

which has undergone combination (chrome & tannin) tanning.

This tanning method produces a natural finish in a short amount of time,

truly combining the best of both worlds.

It offers a moderate sense of solidity and allows for enjoyable aging

as it is worn repeatedly.

 

The base is dyed light brown,

then dyed black with "oka-zome" (hill dyeing) at a long-established finishing factory,

resulting in brown-core leather.

 

It has a semi-aniline finish (50% pigment, 50% dye),

which gives it a softness not found in 100% pigment finishes,

and as it is worn repeatedly, the brown undertone emerges, allowing you to enjoy its aging.
