Today, we have a new arrival,

which I will introduce to you.

 

41 Khaki Last Resort Chino Cloth Stencil【AG94341B】

Previously, the plain (khaki & olive)

and khaki stencil versions arrived, but

today, the olive stencil version has arrived,

which means all 41 Khaki variations are now available.

 

To produce these 41 Khaki chinos,

we were incredibly particular.

 

① We used "Deep South Cotton"

as the raw cotton.

 

 *What is Deep South?

It refers to the southern region of the United States,

comprising five states: South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama,

Mississippi, and Louisiana.

It's a region suitable for cotton cultivation,

also known as the "Cotton Belt."

 

The economy of the Deep South was centered around cotton,

and its large-scale export to Europe

supported the economy.

 

 ② We dismantled deadstock M41 Khaki

and produced special fabric using newly made yarn.

 

We analyzed the yarn thickness, unevenness shape,

number of twists, and twist direction,

and created the yarn from scratch. Using that yarn,

what was produced on a "shuttle loom"

is the "Last Resort Chino Cloth."

This is a shuttle, a tool for passing the weft yarn

between the warp yarns.

 

Both "Last Resort Denim"

and "Last Resort Chino Cloth"

are produced using a shuttle loom.

 

 ③ Unlike the previous 41Khaki, we changed the dye.

While the previous 41Khaki used "reactive dyes",

the New 41Khaki uses

 

"vat dyes." Regarding these two dyes,

in terms of dye quality alone, "reactive dyes"

are said to be superior. However,

the reason we used "vat dyes" is that

 

at the time, it was excellent in terms of dye fastness,

resistance to friction, and sunlight. Also, to allow for

the same aging process as back then,

we adopted vat dyes for the New 41Khaki.

 

And this time, it's the PW stencil version.

Prisoner of War = POW.

 

In the case of vintage items, this stenciloften causes

the price to double compared to plain ones.

There are fewer of them compared to the plain ones,

and the popular PW stencil version

has been reproduced with JELADO's "Last Resort Chino Cloth".

 

Based on vintage M41 Khaki,

we were extremely particular about the raw cotton, yarn, weaving, and dye,

and created it from scratch.
