A former major league baseball player, his position was pitcher.

He played in the majors for 7 years, achieving an incredible record of 252 wins and 65 losses, for a winning percentage of .795.

He also had a career batting average of .313, but retired in 1878 at the age of 28.

 

The reason for his retirement was to focus on his own business.

While still an active player, Albert Spalding started a sporting goods business in 1876 called A.G. SPALDING & BROTHERS.

 

Because he was a major league player, this brand started with baseball equipment.

It then expanded into various categories such as basketballs and goals, becoming a famous sports brand.

 

The first collaboration product, 'Rocky,' was created by JELADO, reinterpreting a brand with a rich history in athletic wear.

The glove pocket is a popular detail unique to SPALDING,

and it can be seen on SPALDING's Lock Hoody,

which is currently traded at a higher price than any other vintage hoodie.

 

The product name "Rocky" was inspired by the design of this glove pocket.

 

While it usually comes with a hood, this design features a cut hood and sleeves,

making it a design not found in archives.

It's designed with the imagined scenario, "What if Rocky used this for his training?"

 

This second iteration of Rocky is available in Salt & Pepper and the new color "Navy."

The old 41Khaki was discontinued

with its final release in May 2023.

 

In order to release new chino pants,

we cut and analyzed expensive vintage 41Khaki garments,

and produced the fabric from scratch.

 

Using American deep-south cotton,

we reproduced the natural slub yarn.

 

While the previous 41Khaki was dyed with reactive dyes,

this new 41Khaki is dyed with vat dyes.

 

The 41Khaki, made with American cotton, shuttle looms, and vat dyes,

is finished to preserve the original atmosphere and texture.

 

From the raw cotton, yarn, weaving, to dyeing,

this ultimate pair of chino pants is meticulously crafted in every detail...

That is JELADO's

Last Resort Chino Cloth 

"41Khaki."

 

When it was last released, it sold out incredibly fast,

and there are many customers waiting for the next shipment,

making it a very popular product.
