JELADO 491J Coverall【JP94491J】
LASTRESORT series
The "blue tag" coverall has finally arrived.
Even though it is lightweight at 10.5 ounces,
it uses a heavily uneven yarn,
allowing you to enjoy a different aging process
than the "black tag" and "white tag" series.
This is the "blue tag" series.
The black tag and white tag are based on LEVI'S...
What about the blue tag? It's "Lee."
Therefore, based on work items,
today's new coverall and
Painter pants (311W Painter Pants)
Overalls (391SB Overall)
are also available. (Please see below for details.)
The large front buttons, small cuff buttons,
and snap buttons on both chests are original,
making this a coverall with attention to detail in its auxiliary materials.

this is the stencil pattern of the Last Resort CHINO CLOTH 41Khaki.
They are extremely limited in number,
yet they are a popular item.
We have wearing samples at both stores,
Even we staff members "can't buy them without pre-ordering,"
so if you're considering it, please hurry.
The 41Khaki stencil changes over time
with repeated wear and washing. While the stencil is dark when purchased,
it fades with washing,
completely changing its look.

The old 41Khaki was discontinued
with its final delivery in May 2023.
In order to release new chinos to replace it,
we cut up expensive Vintage 41Khakis,
analyzed them, and produced the fabric from scratch.
Using American deep south cotton,
we have recreated a natural uneven yarn.
While the previous 41Khaki was dyed with reactive dyes,
this 41Khaki is dyed with vat dyes.
The 41Khaki, made with American cotton, shuttle looms, and vat dyes,
is finished to preserve the atmosphere and texture of the original.
From raw cotton, yarn, weaving, to dyeing,
this is the ultimate chino pant, meticulously crafted in every aspect.

When it arrived last time, it sold out
at an incredible pace, and there are many customers

"Last Resort" means
a trump card, a last resort to be played, and if the white tag is the first line,
then the blue tag series is the fourth line, following the black tag and brown tag.
The white and black tags focus on LEVI'S,
the brown tag focuses on 41Khaki...
So what about the blue tag??
The blue tag is a collection centered on workwear,
and when it comes to representative workwear, "Lee" is essential.
LAST RESORT "Blue Tag" focuses on
light ounce denim workwear.
Since it's 10.5 oz denim,
unlike the white and black tags, the lower ounce blue tag will undoubtedly
show a different kind of aging.
In that sense,
it's a very exciting series.

While based on the "LASTRESORT 41Khaki"
which is currently available for pre-order, the fabric is different.
100% cotton twisted yarn twill fabric.
The warp uses sulfur-dyed twisted yarn, and the weft uses
similarly sulfur-dyed black yarn, resulting in a thick and firm fabric.
Since it's 100% cotton, it will age nicely with wear,
so we hope you enjoy how its appearance changes.
This is produced once a year, so there might be customers who have been waiting for it.
The long-awaited "41Covert" is finally available for pre-order.
JELADO West has samples available,
though the fabric is different.

A small quantity of free stock arrived in December, but it sold out in an instant: the
Age of Longing 407EXX.
You may all be familiar with LAST RESORT "Black Tag," but this is the second installment in the Last Resort series, following the original "White Tag" Last Resort that was released earlier.
Compared to the white tag, the black tag denim has a stronger black hue rather than blue.
JELADO categorizes them into early and late models of 1947.
The white tag, with its strong blue tint, is positioned as the late 1947 model,
and the 501XX from this era is called:
"The greatest masterpiece in 501XX history."

The white tag denim fabric focuses on XX fabric from the 1950s.
So what about the strong black "black tag"??
World War II ended in 1945, and during the war,
Levi's factories were producing everyone's favorite "War Model."
After the war ended, material controls were lifted,
but it took a considerable amount of time for the details to return to their original form.
The reason is that a lot of denim fabric and secondary materials used in the War Model remained.
LEVI'S denim fabrics also had No.1 denim to No.3 denim
(I only know up to No.3, but if there's a No.4, please let me know.) This refers to the quality of the denim fabric.
No.2 is a cheaper version of No.1 denim, and No.3 is a cheaper version of No.2 denim.
That's how they're categorized. Perhaps the denim fabric used in the War Model was No.2 or No.3 denim?
After this denim fabric was used up, it transitioned to what JELADO refers to as the "white tag." The black tag denim is from the transitional period after the war until the denim fabric changed.
The ounce is 15 oz, and because strong uneven yarn is used, repeated wear and aging will result in vertical fading that looks like rain.
The real thrill of denim is, after all, "fading."
Fading is essential when "wearing" denim, and it will be completely different depending on the person.
I believe this real thrill is the greatest appeal of denim.
This time, production has increased by 400 pieces, so for customers who couldn't buy it when it arrived in December, or for those who are considering purchasing it now, I think this is a chance to get your hands on it.
