August is a very busy month for both stores at Jelado with "pre-orders starting" and "new arrivals", but...

 

We have two new arrivals today, but in today's blog, I will introduce one of them.

U.S.N 41 Service Shoes【JB94902】

U.S.N 41 Service Shoes have arrived from JELADO the BOOTED.

 

Following the popular engineer boots,

the second release is these service shoes.

 

The base is the 1940s service shoes

owned by representative Goto,

but upon closer inspection of the details,

they feature an early upper design,

which we have recreated using tea-core kip glass leather.

 

For the last,

 

We used a replicated 1941 Navy last owned by Mr. Riya Suzuki.

 

(I wrote "owned" casually, but this is a very rare last.)

 

Similar to the service shoes of that era,

the sole is leather. The tread portion

has a non-slip rubber sheet, enhancing practicality.

 

We have reproduced the 1940s service shoes as accurately as possible,

including the printing on the heel counter and the engraving on the sole.

 

 

 

 

The U.S.N 41 Service Shoes have a truly minimalist and perfectly designed aesthetic among leather shoes.

They are not only fashionable but can also be worn for formal occasions, making them a versatile pair of shoes.

if you brought them to the store.

However, with the increasing number of hemming requests for items purchased in-store or online,

we are currently unable to accommodate "bring-your-own hemming for other brands." We apologize for any inconvenience.

 

・Hemming services for "JELADO products purchased from authorized dealers"

will be subject to a fee.

※Hemming services for items purchased directly from JELADO

will continue to be available as before.
