Reservations began today for

LAST RESORT BLACK TAG

Age of Longing 301EXX.

 

 

 

This model focuses on the early 1947 501XX.

 

In this era, yellow stitching was generally common,

but orange stitching was used in various places,

such as the back yoke. This specification is called

rainbow stitching. The 301EXX is based on a

vintage piece with this specification, so this unique

feature has been incorporated.

 

 

As you can see from the image, it is a denim fabric

with a strong black tint, not a blue tint.

While a strongly blue-tinted denim would be released

for the late 1947 501XX model, a strongly

black-tinted denim fabric was used until then.

 

This is because after World War II,

the Levi's factories had leftover strongly

black-tinted fabric that had been used for the

S506XX (first model of the wartime series) and

S501XX (wartime model 501XX). Levi's released

the strongly blue-tinted fabric only after using up

all the black-tinted fabric. The Age of Longing

301EXX is a model from this transitional period.

 

 

This image shows the lining, and you can see the slub.

This fabric, with its unevenness and slub, will show

intense vertical fading after repeated wear and washing.

 

 

This is after 1 year of wear.

You can clearly see the vertical fading.

I was doing squats every day for six months

to get these wild whiskers.

 

 

The rainbow stitching I mentioned earlier

is clearly visible on the back as well.

 

 

When washed and tumble-dried,

the back yoke shrinks, creating a nice puckering effect.

The pocket edges also look great.

 

15 oz denim with a strong black tint.

Unlike the 301XX (white tag) with the same model number,

the silhouette is slim.

It is also recommended for those who like a clean style,

so please come and try it on in store.

These use American Deep South cotton

to recreate natural slub yarn.

 

While the previous 41Khaki model was "reactive dyed,"

this 41Khaki is dyed with "vat dyes."

 

Made with American cotton, woven on shuttle looms, and dyed with sulfur dyes,

the 41Khaki is finished to preserve the original atmosphere and fabric feel.

 

From raw cotton and yarn to weaving and dyeing,

these ultimate chinos are crafted with meticulous attention to every detail.
