〜Vintage Blog〜

 

 

Today's post is about Vintage Blog.

Before getting into the main topic, let me make a preface.

 

This Vintage Blog is,

This has nothing to do with the pants released in the 2024SS product line.

But in the James Dean section,

This is related to the 2024SS products, so I will keep an eye on that as well.

Continuing from last time, about "Lee"

I'd like to talk to you.

Speaking of Lee, it's "101"

We will talk about various topics centered around 101.

 

~1924~

That year, Lee released "5-pocket denim"

"Jeans for cowboys"

We are releasing 101 Cowboy.

The 13oz denim is just the right thickness.

In the case of 5 pocketsHowever, for Levi's right-hand twill denim,

Lee is made of left twill denim.

 

~1926~

That same year, the company was founded even earlier than its rival, Levi's.

We will be introducing jeans with a zip fly.

This is a world first zip fly in the industry.

This was the birth of the 101Z.

So, Cowboy has two types of pants...

The button fly '101B' and the zip fly '101Z'.

 

~Patches, tags and top buttons~

"patch"

Lee's 5-pocket denim has what Levi's calls a "leather patch"

A similar patch will be attached to the back right side.

"Hair on Hide Patch"

It is also called "Harako Patch."

 

In 1936, we established a factory specializing in jeans.

To match this, we have adopted the "Hair-on Hide Patch."

To make it easier for cowboys to get used to it,

This is a branded patch made of cowhide leather with hair on it.

This patch will no longer be seen before the war.

*Before 1936, leather patches were used.

 

"tag"

Lee's name tag is attached to the back waist where the belt loop is attached.

It can be placed in the center on the inside.

Red DEEN will be available.

Considering last year, DEEN in red

I have a feeling that there will be a desperate fight over it.

The word "RIDERS" is clearly written.

The difference with the center black tag is

This tag means

It does not touch the center of the inside of the waist.

It is attached on the left side.

The specifications of the name tag are subject to change,

There is no particular big model change
